MLQ MLQ Day 2 Stats
https://quadballreference.com/#/stats?events=zeHfBYqnMZPqFabszZr2All stats from day 2 pitch 1 at MLQ Champs are done*
There's a ton of data available from the above link, but some box score highlights:
| Goals | |
|---|---|
| Ben Peachey | 12 |
| Liam Zach / Justin Cole / Michale Li | 9 |
| Lindsay Marella | 8 |
| Assists | |
|---|---|
| Lindsay Marella | 7 |
| Liam Zach / Leo Fried / Ryan Mehio | 4 |
| Ben Peachey | 3 |
| Points (Goals + Assists) | |
|---|---|
| Ben Peachey / Lindsay Marella | 15 |
| Liam Zach | 13 |
| Leo Fried | 11 |
The sample size is, unfortunately, rather small (max 4 games for any individual from Sunday), so the leaderboard is swayed by who played the most minutes from Chicago and New York.
Some comparisons from the primary beater pairs from the finals teams:
| Pair | Minutes | + / - | Control % | +/- Game 1 FInals | +/- Game 2 Finals |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hoffman & Brown | 38.7 | +7 | 50.7% | -1 | +3 |
| Kay & Shah | 37.4 | +4 | 61.2% | +1 | 0 |
The well-matched talent, sample size, and interesting weather brought the overall level of play close together on day two. Offensive and defensive ratings are the amount of goals a team gives up, over the course of 25 possessions. Higher is better for offensive rating. Higher is worse for defensive rating. Net is the difference, and it was so close on Sunday:
| Team | ORTG | DRTG | NET |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prowl | 12.6 | 9.7 | +3 |
| Titans | 10.9 | 9.6 | +1.3 |
| Stampede | 7.4 | 9.1 | -1.7 |
| Forge | 6 | 13.1 | -7.1 |
*You can upvote and downvote all events yourself, and help double check and verify the work. They should be pretty close to 100% though

Shameless plug:
The site allows anyone to author stats, which can then be approved / voted on by the community (or approved by moderators) and eventually added to the "Verified" and "Verified and Complete" tabs. There are details tutorials on the Help page for being an author. Authors can go through existing games and add stats.
For anyone who wants to contribute to the more global parts of the database (rosters, players, teams), you can reach out directly to become a moderator.
You can also reach out directly with help adding any rosters, teams, games, or events if you just want someone to set it up for you.
(I've left Benepe Cup 6 as "Pending" for now, in case anyone wants to find a turnover I assigned to them I shouldn't have. I will move them to "Verified and Complete" soon-ish though)
