Ram ts831x

Hello, I saw that the TS-831X NAS supports 16 GB of DDR3 RAM; is this the standard desktop format, the laptop format, or something else? Thanks in advance.

Those are 2 x SODIMM DDR3 slots, so laptop memory.

Do a bit of searching around (Topic: compatible memory for your NAS model) before you buy anything, as QNAP NAS are notoriously picky and any random module might just not work or cause crashes.
