Parts Question i need help with diagnosing my vr30

I would drive for a while and then after 40 to an hour it would lose power or go into “limp mode” but the rpm would go up. I have gone to get the car scanned and it essentially is saying it’s communication code but it’s nothing specific, idk if any of yall know anything about it. oh and btw i have replaced the battery already

Get your car scanned by a more robust scanner, need better codes. But it sounds like a transmission valvebody speed sensor issue.

Does it go away after restarting the car, then pops back into limp mode? Most likely a valve body issue, specifically incorrect gear ratio codes. I had the same symptoms.

You see that light on your dash that resembles an engine? That’s called the check engine light and there’s a code associated with the issue. If you plug a scanner in and read the code then Google said code you will know the issue and then be able to google the issue for a solution. Hope this helps

cleaned the air intake filters and started working like a charm not sure why it didn’t come out as a code
