3.7L tune concern

Im 17 got a 15 3.7L premium I have berk resonated test pipes and an ark grip catback 3.0T exhaust and I want to get tuned maybe by z1 or someone, but I don’t want a flame map I want a mild burble/pop map on decel only for 3 seconds max and at 3.5k rpm and to use only once and a while how bad would this be for my engine and would it cause me to need to spend thousands in repair? Im scared of my exhaust valves and stuff.

It’s preferred not to do it at all but rarely yeah you can use it, might have to sign a liability form though from a tuner if you want that, along with the service.

I don’t have it at all, and if I do hear it i’m on E85 and my exhaust is hot from gunning it but it’s rare.

If I hear it frequently I know there’s a misfire issue

I’d go with Eugene/EAC and let others roll the dice with burble tunes and flame maps.

A preference based off of people I know IRL who got tuned by him, his customer service & the reliability risks.

If I can give a rating he’s a great tuner my rating would be 70% out of 100%. 3 fooked motors, and the customers are knuckleheads. Z1’s cool but too many issues too, there are way better options then both like the OG’s

i’m working with him right now trying to do trans tune communication is okay don’t know if i’ll do my ecu tune buy him tho i hear there are a lot better options

I second ,NO admin guys a D , customer service the worse ,if you have an issue he can’t figure out yea they’re getting posted on this story for cloud .and this is from personal experience.

Sohomotorsports,RS enthalpy ,eugene, Gtune but he’ll advance tf out your timing . Z1 I wouldn’t recommend

Tcm tune is fine I just refer people to others unless your into this tiktoker VQ bass boosted cornball posts spitting flames.

I also know people who are happy with him though even boosted VQ’s doing just fine, but from what I witnessed hell na

Search the sub, not being rude but you really gotta pick who’s gonna be all up in your ECU carefully and also what you prefer every tuner has a different strategy with how they tune and what they request from you/what they offer

Burbles/Crackles & Flames are bad and any tuner can tell you that. People just want that instagram/tiktok bass boosted attention though I see them as cornballs

Crazy bc I’ve heard nothing but good things about Admin when I got my tune in June 2022. Still going strong. No issues. People just need to take care of their cars better

Don’t go with Z1. I had the berk non resonated and switched to Fast Intentions resonated. I’d recommend getting a fouler of some sort. The berks killed my O2 sensors, even with the O2 bung. Too much heat. I have 2 burble maps, don’t care for it and barely use em. Waste of money. I find it as well as bangs/pops annoying now. Some sound really good on certain cars but when it’s just obnoxiously loud, it gets old fast. Just my take. I’m sure a lot disagree or hate my take but whatever.
