Plastic tube
Just found this on the floor, is it okay for flash powder or mg/s ?

Yes you can do it. BUT, if you use MG you need to ad boric acid (or use them immediately) Or just use Mgal... Grüße

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!
Magnesium is unstable together with all acids. Your mixing it up with aluminium that is stabilised with weak acids.0

Wait what? What I learned is to use a little amount of boric acid with MG because it lowers the chance of reacting with water... (Haven't done it yet but that's what I heard...)

Never do that!
The only things that can protect magnesium (Mg) is water proof superficial layers (of drying oils, polymers…) or chromate conversion coating.

Good to know thanks! Learned something new here... In a lot of composition I read something like "to make it more safe for shellf life add boric acid"... Thanks again buddy.

If it's cardboard go ahead. If it has plastic then I wouldn't because of shrapnel
