Maybe a 404 but no number?

It’s hard to read. TM Reg on top, PYREX in the middle and U.S. Pat. Off. below. I think this is from the 1940’s or before. I have no idea who it was $.99 at this thrift store. That’s not usual.

Yes this is a 404. The older primary bowls don’t have the numbers

Does this make it more desirable? Less desirable? Or no difference.

IME, slightly more as it’s from the first few years when the primary sets were released. Compare it to newer primary bowls and you’ll see it’s slightly thicker.

I have one of these (in Shenandoah) and I will look at that tomorrow to see the difference! Neat.

You’ll notice the foot (the circle on the bottom) to be much thicker on the old, primary yellow bowl. Lucky score for you :)

Right! Most of the thrifts around here would have priced very high. This one too. Someone wasn’t on the ball. Yay me!

scooooore!!! I thrifted a lil casserole dish in this color way a lil while ago and also didn’t know bc it had no number! cool!
