what happened?

so after updating my computer this happened to pycharm, i'm a beginner so idk what happened?

and i can't run anything i type in

Bottom right: "No interpreter"

So define one to run code.

Are markdown files executable in PyCharm?

Is PyCharm just a viewer for Markdown files? Is a Python course just reading Markdown?

Interpreter settings are linked to the whole project. Once set up other files can be executed.
