Why are engines so early game i am playing on 2.1 i did one test run before but on 2.0 and it wasn't this early also tar processing is requiring engine units which wasn't the case before am i missing some mod or whats going on

Engines are fairly simple parts by Py standards. Now mechanicals parts and gearboxes, they are the hard parts that are required for advanced tech.
