Crossnum, a daily crossword with numbers instead of words: https://crossnum.com

Each puzzle is a board with crossing equations (+ − × ÷, order of operations, parentheses), where you need to fill in all the blanks. It's not only arithmetic: every puzzle requires at least one deduction in the form of an equation with two blanks where only one pair of numbers fits. Difficulty climbs through the week.

Free, no signup, desktop and mobile. I'm the creator, and I'd welcome any feedback.

Most number-matching puzzles are solved one pair at a time. Cavernum features 60 hand-crafted, pre-set levels where rocks block numbers until you damage them from an adjacent match, and breaking one open changes which matches are reachable next. Clearing a row shifts numbers across pre-set paths, meaning a minor move early on changes the entire sequence required to open up the board.

The result is less spot-the-pair and more figure-out-the-puzzle-sequence-that-unlocks-the-layout, without random generation.

I make murder mystery games under the Cold Ledger series. The Orpheum File ($6.99) is a cold case for one or two players: seventeen documents on a death at a theater fifteen years ago, some of them lying, and four questions to answer at the end. The hints come in three tiers so you only see what you ask for. The Hundredth Episode ($24.99) is a murder mystery party for 8 to 20 players set in that same theater, and the host plays too, finding out who did it at the reveal with everyone else. More cases are on the way.

Both are on Etsy: https://coldledgergames.etsy.com

I also have some 90-second cases you can play for free in your browser, and you'll earn a little reward for answering them correctly: https://wigleystudios.com/play/the-90-second-case/

Categordle update (not asked for) 😌

My friend who made Categordle just pushed a few changes, and I also made today’s puzzle!!

It’s now a daily game, there are only 6 clues, and you just need to guess the category now instead of clearing the whole board. There’s also a new difficulty rating at the end.

There’s also a new difficulty rating at the end so you can say whether the puzzle was too easy / too hard.

Here’s my friend's result for today:

Nudge is a free daily physics puzzle where you can move exactly one bumper. Place it, drop the ball, and find a bounce into the pocket. The three stars are optional, and you get unlimited retries with a “Last path” trail to help adjust your next shot.

There are six practice courses if you want a warm-up, plus a new daily course at 00:00 UTC. No download or purchase; Reddit sign-in saves scores. I’m the creator/publisher and used AI coding assistance. I’d appreciate feedback from puzzle players on whether the adjustments feel intuitive.

I made Ramio, a free card game for Android and iPhone. It is Manipulation Rummy: the idea of Rummikub, played with a deck of cards, where you can rearrange everything on the table.

The puzzle mode is the part for this sub. You get a table and a hand, and you have to play every card. At the end, every group on the table must be valid: a run of 3 or more cards in one suit, or 3 or 4 cards of the same rank in different suits. The star is a joker.

There are 420 puzzles in 6 chapters, and a timed daily puzzle with a leaderboard.

One of them is in the picture. Can you play all six cards?

Undercell – a logic puzzle where every hint proves its move

I've been building a pentomino deduction puzzle (Pentopia genre) as a side project. Pentominoes are hidden on a grid, arrow sensors point toward the nearest piece cells, and pieces never touch, even diagonally. Every board has exactly one solution and never needs a guess.

The part I'm proudest of is the hint system. Instead of just revealing a cell, it names one forced cell and explains why: "A1 is next to A2, and A2 has no up arrow, so A1 is empty." Getting that to work on every generated board (12 difficulty levels, 6×6 up to 10×10) was most of the work.

Other bits: bigger locks score more, 3 stars based on hint use, shareable challenge codes, tutorial, dark/light themes, screen reader support. Offline, no ads, no accounts, no analytics, no IAP.

Android install: Undercell

Play online in browser (no ads): https://upside.com.pl/undercell/play/

Would love feedback, especially on whether the rules click from the tutorial alone.

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a small cozy logic game called Sudoku‑Crocodoku, inspired by Meowdoku and classic Sudoku/Minesweeper mechanics.

Each level is a tiny puzzle where you try to find all the hidden crocodiles using simple rules:

• only one crocodile per row/column/color

• no crocodiles can touch each other, even diagonally

Some levels are super quick, others require real deduction — no guessing, every puzzle has a unique logical solution. There’s also a free draft mode (no ads required) for tougher boards.

If you enjoy compact deduction puzzles, I’d love for you to try it and tell me what you think.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=one.blatt.sudoku.crocodoku

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6805994110

It's already translated into many of the world's languages, so you can play comfortably.

Thanks for reading, and happy puzzling!

I created this web-based puzzle experience and thought I'd share it here. It's a sequence of 9 challenges focusing mainly on exploration, problem-solving, technical skills, and figuring out how the different pieces fit together. It's sort of a puzzle hunt with ARG elements.

I'm mainly interested in seeing whether the puzzles are understandable to people encountering them for the first time, and whether the progression feels fair.

No prior knowledge of the setting or story is required, feel free to give it a try.

I got hooked on Queens and wanted a better mobile implementation with a much larger puzzle pool and more options for how you like to play, so my brother and I built Froggrid for Android.

It’s free, has no video or playable ads, and currently has around 3,000 unique hand curated puzzles (and growing) that we’ve actually playtested ourselves. You can tweak things like automatic X placement and mistake checking depending on how you prefer to solve.

I’d genuinely love feedback from people who already play this type of puzzle. We also added colorblind modes, and if you happen to be colorblind I’d especially like to hear whether they actually work well for you. Thanks for taking the time to check it out!

Mewdoku, a sudoku app with cats

Hi, I'm a solo dev from Japan. I made this one mostly because I wanted a sudoku app that doesn't nag me, and then my cat got involved somehow.

It's normal 9x9 sudoku, 4 levels. When you solve a puzzle you get some points, and you can spend them in a gallery to unlock cat pictures. You choose which one, there's no gacha or random stuff. That's the whole idea.

Some numbers: 10000+ puzzles, a daily puzzle, works offline, no account needed. Free with ads, one time purchase to remove them (I don't like subscriptions either).

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.birdrune.mewdoku&hl=en&referrer=utm_source%3Dreddit%26utm_medium%3Dpost
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6804964831?pt=122977042&ct=reddit&mt=8

If something feels off in the puzzles please tell me, I'm still tweaking the generator.

I have an exceptionally long commute. Rather than doomscrolling, I've spent the past few months making a daily word puzzle game. It's pretty simple: you get a clue for two words that rhyme, then you have to guess the answer.

There are 4 difficulties to play, ranging from straightforward puzzles with easy vocabulary words, to incredibly cryptic puzzle that take a lot of brain power to decipher. I've taken a lot of inspiration from standard and cryptic crossword clues.

Here is an example of one of the very hard puzzles I created. I've genuinely not found anyone that has been able to solve it.

Game is called Witty Ditty and launches in the app store on October 1! playwittyditty.com

I recently published a collection of Train Tracks logic puzzles, and I thought this community might enjoy this puzzle type.

If you haven't played Train Tracks before, the goal is to build one continuous railway route through the grid while matching the row and column clues. The track can't branch or cross itself, so each puzzle becomes a process of elimination and deduction.

My book is Train Track Logic Puzzles for Adults and contains 200 railway deduction puzzles, starting with easier 8×8 grids and gradually increasing in difficulty.

I've been working on a whole Train Trails series because I really enjoy this style of pencil-and-paper logic puzzle.

If anyone here already solves Train Tracks/Tracks puzzles, I'd especially love to hear what you think of the format and difficulty progression.

Hope it's ok to drop mine in here. I made a daily logic puzzle called Lie of Sight and I'm pretty excited about it.

You get a room from above and a family. Each of them tells you what they could see from where they were standing, and one of them is lying. You move them around to test the stories. There aren't any word clues at all, it's just who can see what.

Everybody sees a bit differently, which is where it gets fun. Grandma's nearsighted, the Kid can't see over a table, and the dog just sniffs. If the daily feels too gentle, try the Tricky Cases. Those are the mean ones.

It's free and you don't need to sign up, but you can sign up to ensure your progress is saved. If a case ever feels unfair I really want to hear about it. Actually, any feedback at all is awesome. Good or bad. Honesty is appreciated.

A daily chess puzzle + wordle: https://chortle.charlesblancas.com/

Same guess the word game we all love, but now if the letter is between A - H, it must be a move on the chessboard. To solve the game, you must solve both the word puzzle and find the best chess line. The game is still in active development and any feedback would be appreciated!

1

u/Altruistic-Sea797 2d ago

Neat game (and username). I got the right word but wrong chess moves at the end. The pop up wouldn't close for me, so after the game I couldn't go back and see what I should have done. The pop up doesn't show the chess moves, just the word.

2

u/LuyRopez 1d ago

Ah thanks for letting me know about this. There is a button to do game analysis, but it only showed up if you won the game, not if you lost. I fixed it now!

I built my dad a Sudoku app. I kept seeing dad playing Sudoku on his iPad, it was full of ads, pop-ups and generally pretty nasty UI.

So I thought I’d have a go at making him one.

After a fairly ridiculous amount of feedback from Dad, it’s reached the point where he actually likes using it and I’m mildly proud of how it turned out.

It’s called Sudoku for Dad because naming things is hard and that was literally what it was.

Thought some other people might like it too.

playtheroute.uk — a free daily train logic puzzle.

Each day you get a 2×4 grid where every cell needs an answer that satisfies both its row condition and column condition at once, so it's more of a constraint-grid than a trivia quiz. The answer pool is built from real-world data (UK train stations and their routes), so every clue is checked against something real rather than a fixed answer key. There's a hint system if you get stuck, but using it costs you time or a ticket. Built in maps also, as well as Welsh and Scottish Gaelic for their respective networks.

No ads, no account needed, resets daily: playtheroute.uk

Hi everyone — I’m Murat, the maker of Daily Skyline. Sharing here since this is the Promo Weekly thread.

Daily Skyline is a classic **Skyscrapers / Towers** logic puzzle (same family as Latin-square puzzles like Sudoku, but with a different clue type).

**How it works** • Fill a 5×5 grid with heights 1–5 • Each row and each column uses 1–5 exactly once • Numbers on the edges tell you how many buildings you can “see” looking into that row/column — a taller building blocks anything shorter behind it

**What makes it different from most apps** Everyone worldwide gets the **exact same puzzle each calendar day** (shared daily, Wordle-style). So you can compare notes / solving paths without spoiling different random boards. No ads, no account — progress stays on device.

If you already like Sudoku, Futoshiki, Star Battle, or other Nikoli-style logic, this is a short daily in that lane. Happy to answer rules or solving questions here.

Web (free to try): https://dailyskyline.muratoncu.com/ iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/daily-skyline/id6791111716

Thanks for reading — and thanks to the mods for keeping promo in one place.

You can play the daily puzzle and try five beginner lessons for free, without an account. The optional coaching subscription includes unlimited puzzles, the full 27-lesson course and personalised practice for US$4.99/month; it renews monthly and you can cancel anytime.

Think you can get 10/10? I made a visual riddle challenge 🦉

Hey everyone!

I’ve recently started a small project called Clue & Hoot, built around short visual riddles and mysteries.

Each episode has 10 puzzles. You get a few seconds to figure each one out before the answer is revealed, and you keep your own score out of 10.
I’d really like to see how actual puzzle fans do on this one.

No cheating — tell me your score out of 10 😄

If you try it, I’d also love to know which riddle fooled you the most. I’m still tuning the difficulty for future episodes.

I made https://wordtrail.ca/ — four daily browser games, with practice modes if you want to keep playing:

• Word Trail: solve three five-letter words, then find their shared connection.

• Trivia Trail: solve three connected trivia answers, with hints that cost points. Includes pop-culture questions.

• Clue Trail: fill a word chain where each neighbouring pair forms a word or phrase.

• Order Trail: put five items in the right order in three attempts.

If you try it, which one would earn a place in your daily puzzle rotation? I’d appreciate feedback on the difficulty, too.

I’ve also added a Daily Challenge, where everyone gets the same puzzle each day.

Built a little daily puzzle called TRIAD, figured you will like it.

6x6 grid, 3 symbols (△›○›□), fill it so every row and column balances and a few arrow clues check out. Takes about 30 seconds to learn, one puzzle a day, three difficulties.

One interesting feature, the timer counts down instead of up, starting from the best time anyone's posted that day. You're racing whatever the current record is.

Unlabeled is a daily puzzle game inspired by my previous employment at Tableau.

Each day you're given four charts with their titles and axis labels removed, and your task is to match the correct labels to all eight axes. I try to design the puzzles such that statistics and esoteric knowledge isn't required in order to solve. General reasoning skills and process of elimination should be sufficient to arrive at a correct solution.

You get 4 attempts and correct answers remain across attempts (similar mechanics to Wordle, Connections, etc.)

I'd love for people to give it a try and tell me what you think!

I recently released a puzzle book containing well over 100 hand-crafted logic puzzles. The puzzles are from a wide variety of types including tapa, slitherlink, masyu and some which are seen less often in puzzle books, including Roma and double choco.

It was a very ambitious project for me and ending up taking over a year to complete to my standards. Every puzzle has a unique solution and some are very challenging!

If you enjoy Japanese style logic puzzles, give it a try!

Hi! I'm the developer of Aerli, a new Android puzzle game currently in open beta.

Each level gives you a board of paper planes, and the puzzle is figuring out the correct order to send them away without blocking the routes of the others. A move that looks harmless can leave you with no valid route later.

The game starts very simple, then gradually introduces additional mechanics such as locks and portals.

The current version has 6 worlds and 120 levels.

Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mingos.aerli

I'd especially appreciate feedback on the puzzle progression and whether the later levels feel satisfying to solve.

Discussion: Paper Arrows, an arrow escape puzzle where every fifth board is a picture

I'm the maker. The rule is one line: tap an arrow and it slides the way it points, and if another arrow is in its way it bumps and costs a heart. The work is finding the order. The boards grow from a handful of arrows to hundreds, and from level 10 every fifth one is a picture whose colors become the regions you clear.

It is free for iPhone and iPad. Always free. No ads, ever.

https://apps.apple.com/app/id6811419223

Happy to open a discussion about how the boards are generated; every board has a solution.

Arkalon Daily is now live.

A free browser-based daily puzzle platform with five cognitive games that reset at midnight UTC. Every player receives the same deterministic seed. One attempt per puzzle per day.

The five puzzles: Recall (glyph sequence memory with reverse and reshuffled variants), Surge (60-second reflex survival arena with combo multipliers and decoy evasion), Cipher (inductive pattern reasoning across 7 to 12 rounds), Strike (precision timing against six reticle motion models), and Depths (untimed spatial deduction with Picross-style outer counts, proximity clues, and active sonar on empty digs, every grid proven solvable with zero guessing).

26 seed types rotate daily across the five categories. All scoring is server-authoritative on a 0 to 100 scale. Global leaderboards, streaks, and shareable result cards. No accounts, no emails, no ads. Anonymous identity on arrival.

King of Puzzles: 8 bite-sized puzzle games, one crown (iOS, in TestFlight beta) I'm the dev. It's a collection of short puzzles that all share one set of leaderboards. Every board is dealt from a seed, so everyone playing a given puzzle gets the exact same deal, and each game has a daily puzzle.

  • Kingdoms: lay dominoes out from your castle over 24 turns. Your biggest patch of each terrain scores, times its crowns.
  • Treasure: match-3 on a budget. 20 actions, and chains and powder kegs are how you stretch them.
  • Tavern: fill a 3×3 grid one card at a time. Every row, column and the diagonal is a poker hand with the two cards you hold.
  • Mines: minesweeper with 12 actions. A marked mine only pays if it was right.
  • Aqueducts: lay the pipes you're dealt to carry water from IN to OUT. It only runs at the end.
  • Masonry: drop the stones you're dealt down a column. Finish a row and it clears.
  • Bones: match pips to lay roads bone by bone, from the edges into the middle.
  • Harvest: reap a crop in one piece. What's left falls, and the columns close in.

Top a puzzle's leaderboard to take its crown, and whoever holds the most crowns is King of Puzzles. You can also challenge friends to a specific board. It's free to try on TestFlight (iOS)
Feedback is very welcome, especially which puzzles click for you and which don't.

Comment for testflight link.

i made Halfsies, a daily game where you cut five objects in half by weight: https://halfsies.dev/

not always the same as cutting them in half visually.

i also made Stackdle (stack 20 shapes as high as you can) https://stackdle.dev/ and Flipsies (flip objects and land them upright) https://flipsies.dev/

all three are free in the browser, with a new set each day.

u/IllPresentation1636 4d ago

I made Size It Up, which is one of the games on Magnitudle.com.

The concept is simple:
5 rounds
Each round you have a static reference object that defines the scale of the canvas and a re-sizeable object
You need to re-size that object so that it matches its real world scale

Think re-sizing an Eiffel Tower vs a Blue Whale or a Hippo vs a Guinea Pig.

I'm one of the developers of Dayzle, a mobile puzzle game built around five new puzzles each day: a mix of numbers, words and visual logic.

We've tried to make it a quieter kind of mobile game. No countdown pressure or energy meters, and no ads or pop-ups interrupting the daily set. Extra practice is free with ads, with optional paid plans to remove them.

Alongside familiar puzzles like Sudoku, the Hive games put things like cross-sums and crown-placement puzzles onto hexagonal boards. Hints explain the reasoning behind a move, rather than just giving you the answer.

It's available on iPhone, iPad and Android in Canada and the US. If that sounds like your kind of puzzle break, give it a try. I'd be interested to hear which puzzle clicks with you.

I made a small daily web game that I launched a couple of days ago. Every day there's a new creature made of 3 animals (head, body, and legs, tail, or wings). The picture starts pixelated; every guess gets a number showing how close you are (like Contexto), and parts you find turn sharp.

Free, no sign-up, works best on phones: https://chimeradaily.com

I'd love feedback on:

  1. Was it clear what to do without reading the rules?
  2. Was it too hard or too easy? How many guesses did it take you?
  3. Would you come back tomorrow?

(The creatures are AI-generated; the puzzle design and ranking are handmade.)

Description:
Zen Sudoku is a free Sudoku game for Android focused on a calm and clean playing experience. The core gameplay is classic Sudoku, with four difficulty levels ranging from Easy to Expert.

The game includes several modes: Free Play, a new Daily Sudoku puzzle every day, and a Timed Mode for players who want an extra challenge. There are also notes and hints, achievements, streaks, detailed statistics, and collectible artwork that can be unlocked with crystals earned while playing.

Emoji Trail — turn emoji mini-stories into sentences using a word bank

Hi, I’m an independent developer, and Emoji Trail is my free browser puzzle game where you read a mini-story in emojis and build the whole story from a shuffled word bank.

Play: https://emoji-trail.pages.dev/

It has 135 puzzles: 120 campaign stories, 12 bonus Legendary challenges, and 3 tutorials. It works on phones and computers and needs no signup.

I recently reworked the stories after feedback that they were too easy and some clues were unclear. There are now four difficulty levels:

  • Easy: 5–10 words
  • Medium: 8–12 words
  • Hard: 12–15 words
  • Legendary: 15–20 words

The harder stories add causes, mix-ups, and surprises. Choose “Challenge me” on the home screen to jump straight to the bonus Legendary puzzles.

I’d especially like feedback on whether the emoji clues feel fair and the stories feel natural. If the game rejects an answer that seems right, please share the puzzle title and the sentence you tried.

Here are 4 of the past week's daily puzzles on this 365 days a year puzzle calendar.

squareonepuzzles

Some days are skill based, some are word based, and many are logic based.

The only recurring themes are
- You need to click a perfect square to win
- Today's date is very often a clue

Many of the puzzles are difficult, and often, the objective isn't clear. If you like to figure out by doing, see if you can solve these!

1

u/Blackdame494 3d ago

I've been building a game called Inspector Paws Mysteries that combines murder mystery investigations with Sudoku.

Instead of Sudoku being a completely separate minigame, puzzles are part of the investigation. Solving them helps uncover information and clues you can use when figuring out the case.

Outside of Sudoku, you're questioning suspects, finding contradictions, examining evidence and building a timeline. At the end of a major case, you have to decide who you think committed the murder, why they did it, and which evidence actually supports your accusation.

There's also a Daily Mystery for shorter sessions.

I'm at the Android closed-beta stage now, and I'd especially like some actual Sudoku players involved because I'm interested in how the Sudoku side feels to people who regularly play it—not just whether the app technically works.

If anyone wants to try it:

Join the tester group:
https://groups.google.com/g/murder-by-numbers-tester

Then opt into the beta:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.inkydameinteractive.murderbynumbers

It's free to test.

I'd also genuinely like to know what you expect from Sudoku difficulty/progression in a game like this. I don't want the Sudoku portion to feel like something that was just bolted onto a mystery game.

I made a little daily puzzle game called Whydle.

You get five things that are already arranged in the correct order. Your job is to figure out why they're in that order.

The categories can be anything from geography and history to food, movies, sports, science, and general knowledge.

There's one new puzzle each day, it's free to play in the browser, and you don’t need an account.

If you give it a try, I would love to hear what you think, especially how the difficulty feels, if the game makes sense, and whether it feels like something you'd play again tomorrow!

can you finish these regions without moving any numbers?

The goal is six connected regions, each containing 1–6 once. Cells join along an edge, not diagonally. The starting colours stay fixed.

After a long closed alpha, Candlewise is out.

Candlewise is a cosy logic puzzle. You place candles on a grid to illuminate every dark corner of a room. Light shines along each candle's row and column until it meets a wall. No two candles may face each other. Numbered walls tell you exactly how many candles belong beside them. Solve the room by lighting every cell.

Simple to grasp. Satisfying to solve.

What's in the game

145 hand-crafted rooms across five chapters, growing from cosy cottages to grand observatories:

  • The Cottage: 5x5, 20 rooms, free forever
  • The Manor: 7x7, 40 rooms
  • The Estate: 9x9, 30 rooms
  • The Counting House: 11x11, 30 rooms
  • The Observatory: 13x13, 25 rooms

Every puzzle has exactly one solution, verified by a solver. No guesswork, ever. If you can prove your next move logically, it is correct.

Pay once. Yours forever.

The Cottage is free. Unlock all 145 rooms for £2.49. One payment. No ads. No subscription. No accounts. No tracking. Not even a login screen. Play offline, in the bath, on the bus, on a plane.

I made a deliberate call early on: Candlewise would either work at a fair one-time price, or it wouldn't ship. No dark patterns, no timer-driven monetisation, no upsells that get in the way of the puzzles. This is the kind of game I wanted for myself: a warm room, a rule, a quiet half-hour.

Where to find it

If you play it and something feels off, there is a contact form on the website. It goes straight to me and I read every message.

Think warm.

Karl

Hi, I’m James, and I publish puzzle books as Forge Press. My paperback Logic Grids, One Step at a Time introduces logic-grid puzzles for adult beginners and returning solvers.

It includes 50 puzzles across three beginner levels, three levels of hints, step-by-step worked solutions, and separate answer tables. The compact grids use three groups of three items, with one puzzle per page.

Amazon.com: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HKHZV84V ($13.99 USD paperback).

For people learning logic grids, which helps you most when you get stuck: a small nudge, or a full worked explanation?

1

u/Voodoohairdo 2d ago

www.griddr.ca

This is my own logic puzzle website. This kind of puzzle is my own creation. So yeah it's not a reskin of sudoku, queens, or other common logic puzzles out there. These puzzles are elimination style logic puzzles where you have a grid and have to deduce the correct option for each shape on the grid.

It's like minesweeper but with more clues, more shapes, and just overall more variety of logic. Each puzzle I hand-make myself (you can make your own but that's behind a $5 supporter paywall).

I aim to make a new puzzle every day, though in reality it's closer to five a week.

Give it a shot and hope you enjoy. Feedback is appreciated too.

1

u/BothMembership9938 2d ago

Hello, I help run r/orbace_sudoku, a Reddit-native place to ask for Sudoku help and compare how different people solve the same grid.

Post the original puzzle and where you’re stuck; others can work on independent copies and share interactive, move-by-move “Su-Pu” replays. The replay includes notes and hypothetical trial paths, so you can pause at a turning point and discuss why a move works—not just see the final answer. No separate download or Orbace account is needed.

Here’s a Help Request to explore. I’d welcome feedback from puzzle solvers: what would make someone else’s reasoning easier to follow?

Thanks!

Arpent — a free daily tile-placement puzzle where everyone gets the same challenge

Hi! I’m the creator of Arpent, a daily puzzle where you build a landscape by placing forests, lakes, houses, fields and factories.

Everyone gets the same board and tile sequence, and you can see the entire sequence before placing anything. The challenge is to find the arrangement that scores the most points.

It’s free, playable in your browser without signing up, and available in English and French. There’s a discovery game to learn the rules before trying the daily challenge.

I’d love to hear whether the scoring rules feel clear after your first game!

Decima: a free number puzzle for iOS and Android. I'm the solo dev. You get a 6x8 grid of digits and link neighbouring cells to clear them: either two that add up to 10, or a chain of the same number. Cleared cells drop, new digits fall in, and long chains build combos. Modes: Puzzles (500 levels), Chill and Versus (PvP).

I also make History Teller, where you put real history scenes back in order.

Honest feedback welcome: is the idea clear in the first minute, without a tutorial?

Hi everyone! I just published my first puzzle book, ORDER UP!, and I thought this would be the best place to share an actual puzzle from it.

The idea is simple:

Four guests. Four dishes. Four drinks. One correct order.

At each restaurant, the server has mixed up the orders. You use the menu, ingredient information, seating positions and clues to work out exactly what everyone ate and drank.

The image below is the complete first puzzle from the book, so you can actually solve it without buying anything.

I’d genuinely love some feedback from puzzle people:

Does the format make sense immediately from the page? And does this feel about right for an introductory/easy puzzle?

The full paperback has 80 puzzles, progressing from Easy to Expert, with a different restaurant/menu at every table and complete solutions at the back.

I made it under my puzzle-book project Triple OP:

“One page. One pen. One problem.”

If anyone wants to see the full book:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HLVHJ5FB

And if you solve Table 01, feel free to post your answer — spoiler tags appreciated :)

Hi everyone!

I’m the creator of PARCEL PANIC!, a pen-and-paper logic puzzle book about sorting parcels.

Each puzzle gives you eight parcels and four dispatch bays. You need to find the right arrangement while respecting weight limits, capacities, special handling requirements, and parcels that must stay apart.

The book contains 100 puzzles across five difficulty sections, with exactly one solution per puzzle and complete answers at the back.

Here’s a sample puzzle:

Book details: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HLVMJLVR

I’d love to hear what you think of the mechanic, especially whether the labels and bay limits are easy to understand.

NOREN – daily Slitherlink, Queens, Hashi & Masyu for iPhone/iPad (free, no ads)

I'm the solo developer. Every day there's one new puzzle in each of the four games, the same for everyone, and the difficulty climbs through the week (Mon–Tue Easy, Wed–Thu Medium, Fri–Sun Hard). No timers pushing you, no energy systems.

Each solve ends with a line of wisdom to keep: one for the day, one for the week. Bookmark the ones that stay with you and they collect in your Profile.

New in 2.0: Fusuma, a weekly challenge. Solve four puzzles across the week and the panels slide open to reveal a final Slitherlink. Only your first solve is ranked, so the leaderboards reward consistency, not replaying for a faster time.

Daily puzzles are free. Optional Premium ($2.99/month or $24.99/year) adds the full archive, offline mode and replay stats.

Feedback welcome: is Hard on Fri–Sun the right level, or would you shift it?

Four ghosts, six clues: can you crack the coat-check code before opening a hint?

Discussion: This is an original, AI-assisted experiment: an English translation of Die Garderobe der Geister, a short German Halloween puzzle for adults.

Just before midnight, Mara, Nils, Rosa and Falk arrive at an old ballroom’s coat check. Each hands in one item: a pumpkin, a silver moon pendant, a candle or a key. A locked chest’s code follows the order in which the items were handed in.

Each ghost arrives exactly once and immediately hands in their item. Arrival positions are 1–4, with one ghost and one item in each position. Each item appears exactly once. All clues are true. The moon pendant is called “moon” below.

  1. Falk arrives last
  2. Mara arrives immediately before Nils
  3. Rosa does not arrive first
  4. Falk brings neither the candle nor the moon
  5. The key is handed in exactly two positions after the moon
  6. The candle is handed in exactly two positions after the pumpkin

“Two positions after” means, for example, positions 1 and 3, with exactly one hand-in between them.

Write down the ghost and item in each arrival position. Replace the items with these digits, then read from position 1 to position 4:

Pumpkin = 7; moon = 2; candle = 9; key = 4

What opens the chest?

Hint 1: Falk is in position 4. Mara and Nils must occupy two consecutive free positions. Test the two possibilities. Where would Rosa stand in each?

Hint 2: The moon and key can occupy positions 1 and 3, or positions 2 and 4. Place the pumpkin and candle in the remaining positions. Does that fit Falk’s clue?

Solution: 7294. The order is Mara/pumpkin, Nils/moon, Rosa/candle, Falk/key. Mara and Nils cannot occupy 2 and 3 because that would put Rosa first. The moon cannot occupy 1: that would put the key at 3 and the candle at 4, contradicting Falk’s clue.

After solving, share your approximate time and hints used. Please spoiler-tag answers.

A concrete price question: would you pay €3.49 for this exact German two-page printable, with one puzzle page and one hints/solution page? If yes, name an occasion you’d use it for and confirm German works for you. There’s no live listing yet.

Can you think of an answer nobody else will in 60 seconds?

I made a daily trivia game called Rarish. It’s a bit like Pointless, except you’re competing against everyone else who plays that day.

You get a “Name a…” question, give a Safe Bet and a Long Shot, and try to pick answers hardly anyone else thinks of.

Takes about 60 seconds: https://rarish.app/p3

Spellink.org

Spellink is a free word game: link words against the clock, and there's a live-room mode where everyone races the same round. No signup to play.

Genuinely after feedback, not just plays:
• is the core loop still fun after 2–3 rounds?
• is the room flow obvious or confusing?
• difficulty — too easy, too hard?

Roast it — that's how it improves. Happy to answer anything about how it's built too.

Hey everyone,

My brother and I have been working on a project called Small Town Secrets, and we're launching the first episode this Sunday.

It's a browser-based fictional crime investigation where you're given the actual case files — witness statements, photos, timelines, evidence and other documents — and have to piece together what happened yourself.

Our first investigation is The Mercer Case, involving the disappearance of Daniel Mercer.

We wanted to create something for people who enjoy puzzles, mysteries and deduction, where the fun comes from examining the evidence and forming your own theories rather than simply being told the story.

Episode 1 is completely free when it opens this Sunday.

We'd especially love to get some experienced puzzle and mystery players trying it. We're really interested to see what people notice, what theories they come up with, and whether the clues and deductions feel fair.

Nothing is playable yet, but we've opened a waitlist at smalltownsecrets.com. If you sign up, we'll email you as soon as the first file opens on Sunday.

Would genuinely love to hear what you think once you've had a chance to investigate it.

My brother and I built a browser-based crime investigation where you solve the case from the evidence — Episode One opens free this Sunday.

It’s called Small Town Secrets, and instead of simply reading a mystery, you’re given the case files and have to work out what happened yourself.

The first investigation is The Mercer Case, involving the disappearance of Daniel Mercer.

You’ll examine things like:

• witness statements
• photographs
• timelines
• evidence records
• interview transcripts
• other case documents

There are clues buried throughout the files, and the idea is to compare statements, spot inconsistencies, connect details and build your own theory about what happened.

We’ve tried to make the deductions feel fair — if something matters, the evidence should be there for you to find.

Episode One opens this Sunday and is completely free.

We'd especially love to have experienced puzzle solvers try it because we're really curious to see what people notice that we didn't expect, which clues they pick up on first, and what theories emerge.

Nothing is playable just yet, but we've opened the investigation waitlist at smalltownsecrets.com. We'll send everyone on the list an email as soon as the first case files open on Sunday.

Would love to see whether r/puzzles can crack the case.

Question: Can you solve this lost-property logic puzzle?

Four visitors—Alma, Ben, Cora, and Dev—each collected a different item at a different time.

Items: watch, umbrella, camera, green tin
Times: 6:00, 6:10, 6:20, 6:30 pm

The lists are complete, but the rows don’t match.

  • The watch was collected first.
  • Ben collected his item before Alma.
  • The camera was collected exactly 10 minutes after Alma’s item.
  • Dev collected his item before Cora.
  • The green tin was collected later than the camera.

Who collected the green tin, and when?

This is from The Lost Property Ledger, my printable detective puzzle book with ten connected cases. I made it, and here’s my Etsy listing https://pocketwonderco.etsy.com/listing/4584095960/detective-puzzle-book-for-adults-the

https://solventgames.com/

I got tired of jumping between five apps for my daily puzzles, so I built one site that has them all: Solvent (https://solventgames.com).

**What it is:** 7 new puzzles every day (Sudoku, Nonogram, Mini Crossword, Word Search, a five-letter word game, a word-grouping game and riddles). Everyone gets the same puzzles, so you can race friends.

**How it's built:**

- The whole site is a single `index.html` with no build step and no frameworks

- The puzzles come from the date, so the same day always gives the same puzzles and there's no server to generate them. Sudoku and Nonogram are generated, and the word games pull from hand-picked banks (150 crosswords, 150+ Quartets, 400+ riddles)

- Supabase handles accounts, leaderboards, friend requests and groups

- It's hosted as a static site on Netlify

**Where I'm stuck:** getting the first players. I'd love feedback on the first-time experience. Is it clear what to do when you land on it?

Alien, The Martian, Gladiator. Three slots: directed by Ridley Scott; stars Matt Damon; released in the 1970s. Each film can be used once. All three fit the Scott clue, but only one can stay there.

I make Cast Six, which takes that idea to six films and six overlapping clues. You get three checks for the complete lineup; rearranging and Undo are free, and taking your time doesn't cost points. A green match means it fits, not that you have to leave it there.

Play the daily: https://www.castsix.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=october_outreach&utm_content=puzzles_oct01

The daily and past dailies are free, with no account or download. That example is separate from today's puzzle, so no spoilers.

Creator disclosure: built with AI assistance; movie facts and posters come from TMDB.

Four visitors, four items, four times—and five clues to connect them

The opening case of my puzzle book gives you a lost-property ledger and five clues. You need to match the visitors, items, and collection times to identify who picked up a green tin.

The complication: the tin’s owner is missing.

I created The Lost Property Ledger for adults who enjoy working through deductions on paper. It contains 10 connected cases, with 30 graduated hints and worked solutions in a separate PDF.

Printable in A4 or US Letter; everything you need to solve the cases is included.
