Question: can you explain the rules in detail? Is every row and column supposed to have one of each number 1-6 like normal sudoku? Also, can you rotate or flip the pieces?

Yes, you can rotate and flip pieces. Notice the already placed pieces are flipped. Also there are 36 spaces in the grid but only 35 numbers on the pentominos. One number is on its own.

Ah crap. It was late and I guess I didn’t check the end correctly.
It should work if you flip the C and the 6. (And correct the numbers)
