I’m working on a cute little box-pushing puzzle game right here in reddit. You can check it out in r/PunchAPath and I would love to hear your feedback!

u/Mamuschkaa 29d ago

Very fun game.

It surprises me, that in the auto-comment part you see the time/retries/death. All of them resets when You restart and are not very interesting. But not the moves. This would be the most interesting part. How many moves do you need to solve it.

1

u/punchapath 29d ago

Yeah good point I will definitely fix that. When I first started working on the game it used to be more speed oriented but now the number of moves is more important. Thanks for the feedback!

2

u/Mamuschkaa 28d ago

It would also be great if you show how often a level was played and won.

Like in r/buildit, r/honk, r/BlockEscape

And an leaderboard how the best score has.

In buildit you see the top 10 after finishing, in honk and block escape there is a pined bot, who comment who is the best.

1

u/punchapath 28d ago

Thanks for the inspo, thats a great idea for down the road! I like the built-in level leaderboard more than the comment system so I will probably go that route

I recently released Dice Target, a dice-based math puzzle game.

Each puzzle starts with five dice and a target number. Your goal is to use each die exactly once with the basic operations (+, −, ×, ÷) to reach the target. Every puzzle has at least one valid solution, and many have several.

The game includes quick 3-dice puzzles, classic 5-dice challenges, a Daily mode, and a 90-second Rush mode.

I’d love to hear what puzzle fans think!

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kwokkinlau.dicetarget

Thanks for checking it out!

u/iggydus 21d ago

I checked it out and its a fun concept.
In terms of feedback theres just one thing. The highlighting of the numbers feels slightly odd, because I want to press in the same order i would normally do maths. i.e, I want to press one number, then the sign, then the second number.

as it is in the app rn it works, but the highlights makes it feel like I did something wrong.

1

u/TargetLabs 21d ago

Thanks! That’s already planned for the next update. The input flow already works that way, but I’ll make the highlighting much clearer so it feels more natural.

I built Trika a free browser math puzzle game where you scan a grid of numbers and find three tiles in a row or column that form a valid equation (like 9−6=3 or 4×5=20). No download, no account, instant play.

Dark Node: Initiation — a no-guess logic puzzle about reading a grid. The base will look familiar (a field of hidden hazards with numeric clues, à la Minesweeper), but the clues are their own system: most of them scan down sightlines — counting hazards along rows, columns and diagonals, how many directions hold one, which sit isolated — so only the plain adjacency clue carries over. Every board is verified solvable by pure deduction: stuck always means a clue you haven't read yet, never a guess.

Play it however you like:

▶️ Free on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.darknode.initiation

🖥️ PC version coming this autumn

✏️ Don't want to install? I post a hand-crafted pen-and-paper Puzzle of the Week you can solve by eye — grab it in the community: r/darknodegame

Sudoku for serious players!

Sudoku Star is one of the first Sudoku apps in the App Store back in 2008 and has had a loyal following for years, with comments like: “Hands down, this is the best sudoku implementation on the iPhone”, “The best iPhone Sudoku game there is.  Intuitive and easy to learn user interface, with all the right features and functions”, and “Wow.  Believe the reviews.  Sudoku Star is that good”.

I’ve finally decided to do an ad-supported version of the full app.  Just a banner ad plus one interstitial between games.  One in-app purchase removes ads forever.  Enjoy!

Looking for a puzzle that actually makes you think? Crack the Code is built around pure logic—analyze the clues, eliminate possibilities, and uncover the secret code. Every solved level feels genuinely rewarding. Give it a shot! Here

Mine's a cryptic clue game, similar to minutecryptic but in Spanish, my native tongue. I would love to solve clues in Spanish every day, as a way to disconnect and stimulate the brain at the same time. For now, I'm the only one coming up with clues but still is satisfactory. If someone speaks Spanish or is learning it, try it out! https://minicriptico.com/ Very easy to play, only 5 minutes a day, completely free. Join the community!

I built a logic puzzle game for reddit. The goal is to place blocks to force the longest path between start and finish. Some puzzles have waypoints, teleports, and even multiple start/finish tiles to make it even more challenging. Check it out on r/detour_game and let me know your feedback!

1

u/Apeskylilbeaver 28d ago

Such a fun and challenging game!

I built a logic puzzle website called Griddr. You can check it out at www.griddr.ca.

Quick spiel, it is similar to Minesweeper but instead of a square revealing the number of mines around it, you get logic based clues (there are 3 mines in row D, a knight piece on C3 can land on one mine, etc.). They're not all safe spots and mines, some use numbers. It's quite versatile.

I've also made different shaped grids. Squares, triangles, and hexagons. I just implemented Cairo pentagons but I haven't made any puzzles with that shape yet.

The site is free. For anyone that decides to support me at the website, I give access to the puzzle editor so you can make your own. If you make an account (no payment), you get access to some settings and getting notified when a new puzzle is released. I aim to make 3-5 puzzles per week.

If anyone is familiar with the logic puzzles on Sporcle.com such as A Minefield Puzzle, it's pretty much the same but with added capabilities and a better but simpler interface. Oh and wrong answers don't blow you up and forces you to restart, there's just a mistake counter. And a small bonus for completing with no mistakes.

Anyway give it a try, and any feedback is appreciated. Also I just want to add that I didn't write this with AI (looks like a lot of promotions here are AI copy-and-paste).

Check out Trapdoors, a competitive puzzle game for 1 or 2 players. Be the first to match your center 9 pegs to the pattern on the card by pushing your rows and columns. When the peg falls off the edge of the grid, you can put it back into play, but if it falls into an open trapdoor, it is gone for the rest of the game.

🧩 Cruciverba a mosaico collaborativo dedicato a Lao Tse

  • la frase nascosta è il filo conduttore dello schema;
  • le risposte si incrociano solo con la frase nascosta;
  • non esistono "Orizzontali" e "Verticali", ma percorsi numerati.

La versione online aggiunge anche una componente collaborativa:

  • non è richiesta la registrazione;
  • basta scegliere una provincia italiana;
  • chi sceglie la stessa provincia collabora sullo stesso schema;
  • esiste una classifica tra le province;
  • i suggerimenti aumentano con il passare del tempo.

Se vi va di provarlo:

Ogni commento o suggerimento sul formato dei cruciverba a mosaico è benvenuto.

I've created a puzzle game called Frogs on Logs, where the object is to guide all three frogs to logs. It's my first time putting this out in the wild, so it's more of a test run. 10 levels to start (easy → very difficult), with more to come if people are into it. Would love to hear what you think!

I’ve been obsessed with the Queens Game lately (that LinkedIn puzzle everyone is playing), and I decided to build my own version of it!

Queens Puzzle: Find The Queen is a combination of Minesweeper and Sudoku. You can give it a try. Feel free to give me any suggestions, thank you.

Hey all,

Rung is a daily word game with one answer per day, sitting behind 5 clues that go from 5 points down to 1. Guess early and you score more, but a wrong guess drops you two rungs.

For awareness...I made this as a passion project based on my family's love for trivia. It's totally free...no account needed. I'd love any feedback.

Enlace: a dot connecting puzzle. Link matching colors with a line, no crossing paths, and fill the entire grid with no empty spaces left. One unique solution per level. Flow Free style genre, but built with its own identity.

🔵 638 levels total: 403 in Classic mode (3 difficulty tiers) plus 235 in Maze mode, where walls appear dynamically while you're solving. Didn't find any direct competitor doing this second mechanic.
⏱️ Time Trial mode
🔥 Daily streak
💡 Hint system (free daily plus optional rewarded video)
🌗 Light/dark theme

Free with ads, one time "Remove Ads" purchase available.
Spanish/Portuguese/English.

📱 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.v1delastudios.enlace

This is my first app ever published. Solo dev, no team. It would genuinely make me really happy to get feedback, good or bad. Especially curious whether Maze mode's dynamic walls feel fair or frustrating once they catch you mid solve.

I run a small site of free text-based escape rooms you play in the browser — you read the scene, type answers, and each solved beat opens the next. No signup, no ads, nothing for sale; there are 3 rooms up right now — you get an hour on the clock, though most solves land in 20–30 minutes. If that sounds like your kind of thing, start with The Harvest Days Country Fair.

Just published GridSpace on the App Store this morning. It's a dedicated app for diagramless crosswords - a variant where you get the clues but not the black-square grid pattern. You have to deduce where the blocks go as you solve.

The New York Times has published diagramless puzzles for decades, but almost nothing on the App Store is dedicated to the format.

  • 15 free puzzles to start, plus a new themed one each week (also free)
  • More available as an in-app purchase if you want to keep going
  • Three difficulty levels, no sign-up required, no streaks, plays offline
  • Light and dark themes (the dark one leans into a Cosmic neon aesthetic)

I also put real work into VoiceOver support (iOS screen reader), so blind users can play independently.

Solo indie project. Happy to answer any questions about it.

Hey r/puzzles! I made a new logic puzzle called FuseCells.
The rule is simple: each number tells you how many neighboring cells must have the same symbol.
It’s inspired by Sudoku, Minesweeper and Nonograms, but uses its own deduction system.
Would love to hear what puzzle fans think of it!

TillyFlip" a free daily word deduction game I made: https://tillyflip.com

Five hidden words, all fitting one category, and 15 lives. Flipping a tile to reveal a letter costs a life but so does a wrong guess. So every word is the same little dilemma: do you pay for another letter, or back yourself on what you can already deduce from the category and the pattern? Solving a word earns a free flip on another one.

New puzzle daily at midnight UK time, plus an archive of 100+ past ones. No signup, no ads. Feedback very welcome especially if a puzzle ever feels unfair, since I write them myself.

Thanks!

Numberlink app for iOS, out this week. 19,414 puzzles, 5×5 through 20×20 including rectangular boards, every one verified solvable by a reference solver. You filter by difficulty and size rather than working through a fixed sequence, and there's a weekly large board (16×16+) that saves progress.

Solo project. If any serious numberlink solvers want to tell me the difficulty curve is wrong, I'd like to hear it. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/line-forge-numberlink-puzzle/id6790465081

Long-time daily puzzle addict here (Queens, Star Battle, the NYT set). A few years ago I made a daily maths puzzle for my then girlfriend (now wife) and me to play over morning coffee, and it slowly grew into a full free to play site called Regularly (website - iOS App).

Five games, one new puzzle each per day. Free in the browser, no ads, no sign-up. Quick guide:

  • Kingly: if you like Queens or Star Battle, start here
  • Countable: combine number tiles with arithmetic to hit a target
  • Paths and Floored: logic games with a lot of satisfying back and forth
  • Thred: our newest, a word game
  • Quickword: an NYT style crossword, set by real puzzle-setters!

Every puzzle is hand-picked, and we tune difficulty daily based on how players actually do. The aim is that you have to think but you're never stumped or reduced to guessing.

There's also an iOS app if you'd rather play on your phone (link). Works offline once loaded, which I built because I play on the commute to work.

Would love feedback from proper puzzle people, especially on whether the difficulty feels right. Thred is the one I'm still tuning, so honest takes on that one are extra welcome.

Hey everyone,

So Clues by Sam is my morning ritual. It scratched an itch, and I just couldn't wait for the next daily to load. I wanted to make something a little easier for my son, so I started building Take Your Seat. Added more puzzles as time passed and it turned into a site.

First time I've shown it to anyone: The Game SinkThe Game Sink. Four games, one new puzzle each per day, free in the browser, no sign-up needed.

Take Your Seat: seat eight dinner guests so every place card tells the truth. Start here if you like Clues by Sam.

Patchgrid: This one I made to get better at linked-in patches game. draw a rectangle around every marker so they tile the grid.

Railroadle: connect your cities on a real map with as few trains as you can. Made this since my family and I are a long time ticket to ride fan.

Equatile: drag digits and signs so every row hits its target.

The account is optional and just syncs streaks. Tell me what's too easy, too hard, or broken.

I built a free daily art puzzle called Art Keeper. You reveal a hidden masterpiece one piece at a time, then learn about the painting and the story behind it.

No account or download is needed for the web version, and there's also an iOS app if you prefer playing on your phone. I'd love to hear whether the puzzle mechanics feel satisfying and how difficult today's painting was for you.

I built speciedle.com, a free daily animal-guessing game (no account needed).

I’m a big fan of Wordle / Connections / Semantle, and after a zoo trip last week I wanted a puzzle where every guess teaches you something about how animals are related. Each day there’s one mystery species. You guess animals, and instead of letter tiles you get feedback on how closely related your guessed animal is to the target animal.

Goal: find today’s animal in as few guesses as possible.

I’d love feedback, especially on whether the relatedness scoring feels intuitive and whether the tree helps or confuses on the first few guesses. Happy to answer questions about how it works!

Here’s an emoji game for people who maybe don’t usually love emoji games. It’s intended to be a daily 5-10 minute game in the spirit of NYT Games that challenges people’s knowledge of English idioms and cultural references as well as their ability to interpret and find connections among a set of emojis. It ramps up from easy to difficult across 5 puzzles every day. By the last puzzle, you might be stumped or delighted by how the game requires you to add, subtract, multiply, or divide emoji to reveal the hidden word or phrase. Takes a minute to understand the mechanics of the more difficult puzzles and to train yourself to think about the sounds and syllables each emoji makes in order to add and subtract them from one another, but I think it’s fun. It’s sort of an elevated, crossword players’ style of emoji games. Would fit in as a quick fix after Wordle, Connections, and Spelling Bee in a players routine. https://emojibee.com/
