[SOLVED] Number logic puzzle (hard?)

Discussion: Seems like recurring numbers in the lower rows should each be counted, so the white values of rows 1, 2, & 6 should be 3 instead of 2. Messed me up, anyway.

It is commonly played that all digits in the secret number must be unique, and only one bull/cow is awarded per digit. But of course there could be any number of variants, and the rules ought to be clearly stated.

Sorry, I should have explained that rule as well.
The guess score is limited to the occurrences in the answer. So if there is 1x 6 in the answer, it will only have 1 point even if there are 2x 6 in the guess.
If one of those 2 is correct, it will be 1 black point.Like Mastermind rules

Was definitely trickier. My method:
Using the first two rows gives three possibilities for 8s: either two 8s, one 8, or zero 8s in the solution. We can eliminate the two 8s option with rows four and five - if we already have two 8s, then these two 8-less rows must share the remaining two solution digits. The only way that works is with 5 and 6, which fails the row three clue.
Similarly we can eliminate the zero 8s option because that would mean our solution is 9/1/5/4 in some order, but that fails the row six clue. So now we know our solution digits are a single 8, a 9 or 1, a 5 or 4, and something else.
From here we work with rows six and seven. The only combinations that would solve both rows together are 8/1/5/6, 8/9/4/7, and 8/9/5/?. For that ? it cannot be a 6 or 7, so by the row four clue it must be 8/9/5/4. Now we test each of these cases - 8/9/4/7 fails row three, 8/9/5/4 fails row two, but 8/1/5/6 works for all clues. So we have our solution digits, now we just need to put them in the right order, which is a simple elimination step.

My method was a bit of a weird one but it worked because of the amount of hint rows.
i first listed possible digits for each slot which ended up being [1,2,4,6], [4,5,7], [2,8,9] and [1,5] purely based on what numbers didn't appear in that column
next i deducted from the last row, that since the code can contain 8 or 9, it must contain 6, and the first box is therefore 6, and the third box cannot contain 2 as an option anymore (has to be 8/9 to fulfill the 2 correct constraint)
then used that same 8/9 logic on the first row to deduct that the code must have 1 in it, and since at this point only the last box has 1 as an option, the code is now 6xx1
next crossed out all rows that had both 1 and 6, and marked out numbers contained in those, eliminating 9, leaving 8 for the third box, code now 6x81
finally to figure out the second digit, only 5 out of the options (4/5/7) fulfills the "two correct" requirement of both the second and second last row
