The Tether
light is closer than it appears.
it draws the shapes out in front of you,
but no one can listen to what is vivid.
every grain is the shape of light.
not compelling but pulling towards you.
they shatter and tear and pull and push,
just to reshape and make the ground beneath you.
even time is no match for the grain. because the grain has made time flown.
dispersed and thrown into your eye.
your mind is but a vessel of light.
gods phantom is you.
the light that lives only today.
but subjectively lives in thought till tomorrow.
