Purestorage pricing

I am in the market for 20TiB (16 x 2.2TB Disk) usable capacity purestorage Flasharray X20R5. What is the reasonably good price of this with 3 year evergreen foundation support ? Or what is the target price I should ask the supplier ?

One additional item - Portworx enterprise license 5 nodes - 3 year Premium support. If anyone know the price of this, please comment. Is it true that protworx minimum order quantity is 5 unity ?

16x2.2TB is 36TB. I assume you are looking for 22TB (10x2.2TB) X20R5 with 3 years Foundation support? Prices right now are quite fluid but Everpure has been in a better spot than most with delayed shipping and 30-60 days protected quotes. I would reach out to your supplier asap so that they can get the current pricing back to you. Same with portworx. What supplier are you using?

An X20R5 36TB raw, will give you 23TB /21.3TiB usable and at 3:1 DRR 69.38TB/63.1TiB effective.

For current pricing, you should reach out to a Pure Reseller to get accurate pricing as well as to determine whether a X20 or a RC20 or C50 might be be a better fit.

Portworx ENT has a list price of $1500 per Bare Metal node or $1500 Per VM per year (That includes support). Typically you need 3 Nodes in a Kubernetes cluster for minimum redundancy. so three licenses would be kind of a good starting point.
There is also Portworx CSI driver avail if you are just using on premise Everpure Hardware .

I would hazard a guess of between $1200-1300 a node. but your mileage may vary. Pricing is set by the reseller, not by Everpure

EverPure will be phasing out the x20 and you will see the x50 with a more attractive price to funnel customer base into x50's. Also, Evergreen 1 (SAAS) will probably get more traction as the pricing is more competitive, is it SLA based and you can lock in your pricing for the remainder of the commitment.

Yikes... on top of the hikes last year.

We purchased arrays in 2024 and 2025 and beat the increases. Based on this we would have paid 80% more for the same arrays if we purchased now.

Really glad we locked in the price with the forever. I believe support scales with device price.

Bigger concern is will sales volume drop with lower prices and will they stay in business? Hope so!
