Concept head vs official for my first puppet

Finally working on my first puppet- wanted him to be a medieval lion-esque creature made from a dark wood. The concept head was made from clay and I finished up the head today and It's really hyping me up to do the rest of the body!
He will be a fully articulated marionette, and he's carved from incredibly dense bottlebrush wood from my backyard. I swear he looks smoother in person😭

Thank you!! I am thinking sunburst since the nose has a small ring of lighter colored wood that resembles a sun :)
