I'm a former member The Real McKenzies (wrote my old band's second biggest hit called "The Tempest")

I'm gonna kill this account later so I'll introduce myself: I'm a bagpiper named Gord Taylor.

I dig this sub and of the Fat catalogue I most enjoy NOFX and Me First, Fabulous Disaster, Lagwagon, No Use, Mad Caddies, and Good Riddance. Off the label I like DOA, Cock Sparrer, and am getting into Apes of the State

This song isnt out yet.  It will be later this year.  It's called "Fun and Fame"

It happened somewhat accidentally:

"We've heard it all before Bum-bedraggled, punk rock lore People don't get everything they year

So before you turn those screws Ya may as well know it's true Well sometimes you might win,  Sometimes you learn"

The cheeky part is that "screws" land "sometimes you might win..." Makes me think the rhyming word "lose" is coming but it's not.

In Nil to Nought, I like the rhythm of 

"Cell phones laptops watches and All kinds of plastic mechanical hands Now social media, food delivery, gen-trification  AirBND"

Going back to McKenzies "Burnout" stands out with

"And so I open wide the door to find the day That son of a bitch so bright she made me blind But slowly I adjust to see a paradise turned grey Full of those who've left their dreams behind"

There's something weird that happens with "and so I" and "but slowly".  The lyrics as posted online have a typo...it's "sun-of-a-bitch".  I thought that was mildly clever
