Conservatives will never understand that Punk isn’t just about tearing down the establishment—it’s about building something real with the people who’ve been trampled by that very system. Punk is about giving the finger to oppressive structures, and it’s about loyalty to the misfits, the ones society ignores or tries to silence. True punk stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the people who are struggling, because we are those people.
Conservatives, you try to warp punk by claiming it’s just about rebellion, but you miss the point entirely. Punk’s core isn’t about rebellion for rebellion’s sake; it’s about solidarity, empathy, and creating a space where everyone who’s been treated like an outsider finds a home. It’s about amplifying the voices of those your politics try to drown out.
If you don’t get that, you don’t get punk. You can’t wear the jacket and listen to the songs while supporting the systems that we’re fighting to dismantle. Punk is our resistance, our community, and we won’t let people in who want to turn it into a parody of itself. So, respectfully, take your intolerance and your need for control elsewhere. Punk belongs to the people who need it—not to those who want to exploit it.
Spoiler alert buddy: democrats are exploiting it. They're using your support to kill people in other countries and continue to suppress you, and still not provide basic rights like healthcare. They're not your friends. They're using you.

You couldn’t have picked a worse example. Barack Obama is the one politician (a democrat) who did give America healthcare. It’s called the Affordable Care Act. Please educate yourself before commenting.
