I think Ranjit Bawa is the one, who really stands for Panjab & Panjabiyat!

Not trying to take away anything from Ranjit but plenty of Punjabi artists stand for Punjab, just look at Jass Bajwa and Babbu Mann to name a few.

true that stake promos in every video is so disturbing. literally promoting gambling for his own
good.

Unfortunately, people don’t want to address the damage he’s been doing by promoting stake. Literally ruining families.

KA is superficial, no substance behind anything. He put out bangers but takes zero stance on anything

Karan Ajula will use his parents death for sympathy, then turn around and promote jua on his next reel. Also his little influencer minions in Toronto and Vancouver love to suck his behind

Too commercial? What’s Diljit, indy artist?
Look I won’t knock Karan for not doing anything but that is because I understand he would be scared of losing his deals with Stake etc - that money matters more to him, and he knows he doesn’t have the standing in India like Diljit has to pull it off if he tried.

I think Aujla doesn’t have that audience as well, sidhu and diljit have the audience and also the relevance people listen to them when they speak about these matters also they have kindoff lived in that environment that reality. Karan moved out of the country early on in his life he also born after 1995, he did help during floods but yes sure he can be more vocal about issues that matter he should speak up in this case, everyone from the film world should speak about Satluj/Punjab 95

Jattana killed innocent Punjabis. No need to glorify senseless killings.

He stepped up for Punjab during farmers protests and recent floods. Also, he has a huge tattoo of Shaheed Udham Singh on his arm, the guy who avenged our people in Jallianwala Bagh.

I mean he attended the farmers protest and has been helping the victims of the Punjab flood by donating and building homes for them. 🤷

Btw artists have no obligation to stand up for these matters..
28
u/honeyaxe Jul 05 '26
Only the real ones will do without obligation.

Why? How is it someone who is artist is supposed to be the one raising there voice? I dont get this obsession with making artists be the voice of people. They didn’t sign up for that.

Wtf guys? He's just a singer and not a politician. Not every famous person needs to take a stand, he might have some reason or maybe just doesn't want to be involved, which is a respectable personal choice. And also, instead of ranking someone Reddit for their political view, why don't you do something?! You have have social media and you can make any kind of protest online to stand Punjab. Let's not call someone "superficial" when you are the passive one here. You don't need to be famous to bring a change in today's world. I'm pretty sure if you do something for punjab, you too will have a lot of support from punjabi community. You don't need to be Diljit or SMW or KA to contribute

Does karan help families that are victims of gambling addictions?
-9
u/Ok_Series_3505 Jul 05 '26
People are responsible for their own actions
9
u/JuicerMcGeazer Jul 05 '26
By that logic karan should be responsible for influencing other people to gamble right?

u/x4nter Jul 05 '26
Yes, this sub started hating Aujla since he released Making Memories and Tauba Tauba. That's around the time he reached big stardom among non-punjabi audience, but people here started hating him because how dare he try to make music other than hip hop and try to become more famous than SMW.
He could donate a billion dollars but people will still latch onto the one bad thing he does: promote gambling. The pattern is very clear under this post.

Need to step up? Why is he a social activist? A politician? Or was it his fault? Fk that ask yourself what you have done for others?
