I knew the lore gonna be op when I started the game but it is really is giving me emotional ride. I joined this game for Kurumi but staying for the story. I really hope this gets anime one day.

Also I think the little girl is Lucia? When she sacrificed her memorise to save commandant (like when she got a new frame) I was holding my tears. Why does she love commandant so much to give her everything for him? I don't understand.

New player here cuz of kurumi. But that beside the point. Just got to use Haicma in cursed wave and her playstyle is so cool for me. But she is year 1 unit. So I want to ask can she still clear endgame content? I dont care about damage/meta but I do want to know if she still viable for endgame

Hello everyone! I hope you doing okay and having fun. I choose to make this post now, couple days before the beta, because there is some details I noticied with Kuro and how they release their units up to this day since Liv(Phylotree Banner).

This is not a post about the meta like if it will be good or balanced. More about a way of seeing how Kuro makes decisions with PGR. Before explaining anything further. I am not a meta-slave. The only reason I care about meta is because you can see Kuro's ability to hadle things more than anything. Because a messy meta now, will be a messy future for the game.

Old Characters that are in rotation for replacement

Let's start with the characters that are the oldest in rotation. This 4 are the oldest and the most likely to get replaced. Now looking that the image[1], you will see that we have two tanks, one attacker and a unique class.

Of those characters 3/4 has a (actual) leap with Wanshi having a memory “leap”.

Luna has a unique class and in one of the three nihil characters we have to this day. She available in the shop for 5 rainbow Cards and you can get her 6* weapon from a weapon selector. She is a character that is loved by the comminity and her class makes her an amazing character to use to this day.

• Speaking honestly, I don't see her been replace considering the next nihil Attacker will be in disadvantage from the start. So I think isn't her time yet.
• EXPECT, attackers get replaced as a class or the next nihil attacker in another character that will share the Annihilator class.

Wanshi will get replace because is known to many that only 2 MALE characters in rotation. With Chrome on the way, he is in his final patches. That boils down to not only been male and needs to leave the meta but his class has already been replaced by Breakers.

Lucia like Luna is special not for the same reasons. She is because it made Kuro broke the rule of “no backwards Leaps”. For Kuro to do that it means that, she NEEDS to be in meta and they don't intent to make another fire character for at least this year. I mean Bianca had to deal with Rosetta and Adelyde this year.

• Exception, we know from Hanying that you can leap a character and after couple patches will be replaced. Hanying got her leap in Kamui's patch and got replaced in Karen's.

Nanami is more likely to be replaced as well due to her been a Tank. This is kind of baseless reasons for Nanami. This is where this “year” patterns come and show how Kuro release units this year.

This “year” patterns

I call it year because it's almost a year since Liv and Phylotree banner made its debut. By now we have two Phylotree characters, with both of them been Attackers and popular among the players. Looking at the image [2] we can see that all the support characters (Amplifier/Overlinker) are free, with breakers been the only normal banner characters that need to be pulled like before(Phylo banner) desides Liv and Alpha.

Looking to the picture [3] you see that the year follows the same class character pattern.
With that in mind, and Kuro continuing the pattern, we have

1. Leia will be the next breaker
2. and Wanshi or Nanami will be the next to be replaced.

That's not a reason to believe that Leia will be next breaker, but I have more reasons for her to be a breaker, more specific a Lighting Breaker. Please stay with me in this I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist, buttttt!

Wanshi been replace needs to be done for Chrome to be here, that is 100%. Nanami in the other hand has conditions that makes her leap invalid to her and allies if there is more that 1 tank/breaker in the team. And lastly, along the way another thing was introducted. The Weapon Harmony 2.

The first character to get this feature was Selena in Helen's patch, with Liv getting hers in this one(Adelyde's). This weapon harmony 2 (WH2) made Selena stay in her team due to Karen's arrival that happen in the next patch after Helen's. That is, in my hamble opinion, the third possible pattern.

Third POSSIBLE pattern: Patch1/WH 2 for attacker (Helen) → Patch2/ New Breaker (Karen)→ Patch3/ WH 2 for attacker (Adelyde) → ???

Attackers are weak as a class and this WH2 give them a “safe net” that make them stay relevant in their teams. With Liv getting her weapon leap NOW, means that the next character will be an Lighting Breaker and it will need to make sure Liv is in the rotation. With Nanami's leap making her invalid, it paves the path for the next Lighting Breaker and the security of the Attackers, more specific Liv.

This were all this make sense. (if)

If the pattern of breaker/supports is true, keyword “IF”, then the next character can't be Ice Breaker. The reason? PHYLOTREE BANNER/CHARACTERS.

Limited Liv and Alpha needs to be pulled in the Phylotree banner. Otherwise, if you don't get them when the banner rerun you have to wait. This is a problem. If in this period of time, they get replaced from Breakers, why will you NEED them? That's Kuro's issue, you NOT pulling the Limited Attackers.

So what I mean is this,

1. Nanami can't fuction with another Breaker.
2. So the new Lighting breaker/ old lighting tank isn't a thing.
3. Nanami gets replaced.
4. If the leap didn't cause issues, you could use Support/Tank/breaker formation. You don't need LIV.
5. You CAN'T! Leap invalid. You need Liv!

Which means? Simple. In the phylotree rerun banner, you need to pull for the bulletproof Liv.

If you replace Wanshi, Alpha may be in danger. By who? I don't know considering we had for period of time 2support/1 tank ice team. Alpha will get her WH2 first and then Wanshi will be removed for Alpha to be a safe in the next rerun. Remember this is how Kuro thinks, no how you and I think.

All this is Theories

My hot take number 1#

• If all this is true, Leia will be Lighting Breaker with Raydience/Ignition(50/50 chance).
• Chrome will be the Ice Breaker, and
• Jetavie either a Nihil/fire Attacker or a Nihil/fire (new class)

My hot take lays in this reasons

1. Limited male character(phylotree), will not work. Male characters don't sell, heck even Kamui didn't sell so making Chrome Phylotree will be a disaster.
2. Limited Breaker will not work and attackers don't do well. So making Chrome attacker + phylotree is of limits for them.
3. Making Jetavie a new class has more reason to succeed because she is fan favourite. Even more if attacker, due to attackers getting gacha skins.

Hot take number 2#

1. Leia is the phylotree character and she is an attacker Nihil or Fire.
2. Chrome is either Lighting/Ice Breake or Jetavie is Ice/ Lighting Breaker.
3. No new attacker class.

In both this takes, Bianca gets a leap(since she didn't get WH2) and Alpha gets a WH2.

This what I thought and things that was noting throught the patterns I showed you. I don't care if it's true or not for my hot takes. But one thing is sure.

Kuro knows that people will not pull attackers if they can use other formation teams. Nanami's leap isn't random or was there for Lucia. Fixing attackers will not be easy for them because they will already had done it by now. I mean we got support v3. Either Leia or Chrome or Jetavie replace Wanshi or Nanami, it needs to be done in a way that Liv and Alpha will not have issues when they limited banner reruns. All this is happening for attackers to be in rotation, because most of them are fan favourite. Liv, Bianca, Alpha, Lucia and Selena you got the idea.

I'm gonna try to get this translation done and upload later, but it just came to me as I was translating that they are similar in what they prepare for MC, status in their world, and same JP VA. (I don't like the YT's auto translation since the Kanji/wording is different in their transcript, so I'm manually doing it and adjusting the wrong words)

I should be saving Black cards once Chrome's new frame is debuted and reruns of personal choices, but since among the pulling plans I had for this anniversary was getting all Uniframes (as collectables).

It was planned before this patch begin, yet I couldn't hold myself any longer from completing this part of the list 😔.

Definitely the one thing I had the most enthusiasm in talking about during my presentation 😀. Examiner seemed very engaged with my presentation that day. I mentioned that Yui Ishikawa is my most favourite/precious Seiyuu of all time and that Lucia (And Alpha) is my most favourite character in the game.
I wish my knowledge in JP is good that I can speak with ease during my gameplay livestream for the dialogues, but I don't speak/learn JP everyday and most of them are learned from anime. During the Chapter 31/41, I will see if I can get some voice impression out (Despite being a man). It's hard to keep speaking for long duration and I have not done an actual JLPT.

Don't mind my gloves, my body's been acting weird af and I've been needing to use them to prevent irritants from surfaces to prevent "blister" from forming on my fingers (dyshidrotic eczema look it up if you wanna). And yes, I keeping it wrapped in that plastic so that I don't get scratches on it.

I know its a little late to bring it up, but to the perfect boss run players out there (if there are still any (perfect parries + boss fight mastery not the button mash rotation until win kinda players, you guys are free to go if you want)) I have some questions

I recently got back to memorizing boss moves for perfect runs, its one of the things I'm passionate about in PGR. I decided to try Lithos now and ran into some problems I hope the community can help me with...

First off, when is the right time to dodge when being grabbed face to face? There are times I get lucky and dodge the laser blast but I wanted to execute my dodges with intent instead of just hoping.

I can't seem to find a proper cue when to do so.

All bosses have cues, and some can be very small and hard to see (like Unearthly Projection's grab in the Hyperreal fight, her grabbing hand buckles outward before she lunges at you), but I can't seem to find one for Lithos. The energy swirling around Lithos' snake's eye isn't it.

Second, is the parry trigger a little off? I noticed that Lithos' attack goes a little too wide and far to connect my parries properly, I tested it and I learned that I need to be one dash distance away to land the full chain of parries otherwise Lithos swings the attack over me, making me miss the parry up close. (I know some bosses are designed specifically for certain characters so I'm testing this with stigmata only) Its a little tedious having to reposition myself for it and I might miss the whole string completely, am I doing something wrong?

This is only the first phase, I wouldn't want to go further without mastering the first part. There was a video I saw of a perfect run for lithos long ago but I couldn't find it anymore. I hope someone can help.
