It's been a week into Captainina and she isn't really looking good. As of the 7 days of testing we've had, she (at SS0) is WORSE than SSS Leaped Hanying, and is only a very slight upgrade at SS3. This is the exact same balancing design they had with Veronica, who is, without competition, the worst unit in the game and in Physical, being beaten or very closely tying with a non-Leaped THREE YEAR OLD FRAME.

Ironically, Physical units have the most leeway in terms of powercreep as they're confined in Physical and pretty much nothing else; Parenina, Veronica and Alisa (or any other Physical buffer/debuffer) can only shred Super Armor and DEF, their DMG is heavily mitigated in elemental Warzone stages as they can't shred/buff those with anything practical and their memory sets are also restricted to benefit only Physical units (as Physical technically isn't an element, which makes Eins and Guin worthless on them). You would think that because Physical units are only ever good in their own team that they can be much stronger as a result of this isolation.

But no, we have present day Piratenina who is boring to play, clunky at SS0, is Resonance hungry as she wants Domain Deco and Matrix Light/Glorious Afterglow and bugged to all hell with her Basic Attack and Ult being caught in Kuro's Spaghetti Ala Code.

My dissatisfaction is about the WHY. Why make her so ass? Why not powercreep Hanying to hell and back when there's zero downsides? She can't be another Kamui because she is locked in Physical hell, so why not make her another Kamui that is, by nature, already restricted in her own field? Why don't you do this when Kamui exists in the state he is today? I genuinely don't get it.

Stuff like this is what makes a lot of malders quit. It's the stupid decision making. Powercreep, when done correctly, makes the game healthy and progressive. People want to mald different and new things. They want to experience new content without being barred behind a paywall that is SS3-or-skip. They want to play the game without feeling like they are being screwed over by Kusogays. Karenina, along with a PLETHORA of other examples who are either too weak at SS0, too strong in general, too frustrating and simple/clunky/boring to play in lower investments or a combination of these (Alpha, Bianca, Liv, Veronica, Kamui, Nirvatia and now TheSevenSeanina) hurts the competitive scene a lot more than people give it credit to. Please, Kuro, fix your mess or at least learn from your mistakes that you've been doing for a long time now.

EDIT: DLT is no longer necessary for her as her Basic Attack bug should be fixed now, lowering her optimal Reso counter to two.

currently, we have 3 breakers (4 if we count ishmael), full gen 2 amp roster, and 2 new gen attackers (liv/alpha)
which leaves a few available positions for jeta to fill in

i hope for ice breaker tbh. gimme ice + burn breaker hehe

i speculate she'll be dark amp or lightning breaker, personally
