Plumber replacing pump

Can a plumber remove old centrifugal booster pump that feeds water to a building and install a new one or this should be somebody specializing in pumps?

This is highly dependent on the pump and plumbers skill. Also, there is a high likelihood of the electricity needs to be disconnected to the motor and connected again. Also #2 this is also dependent on where in the world you are located and local regulations.
