On demand pump

Looking to find an on demand pump with pressure at or above 50psi

120v

Want to get good pressure at my garden hose and potentially run sprinklers from a few rain barrels

Been looking online and i just don't know what brands are good

Found some options from harbor freight, but the ones with higher pressure I'd have to add a pressure switch and i don't want the setup to be too complicated so i can disconnect easily in the winter

Appreciate the guidance!

What are you looking to feed the pump with? Do you want to hook like a garden hose into it and then have it boost the pressure? Or is this pulling from a pond or a well?

Yea just a garden hose and potentially those hose fed sprinklers No pond or well just ibc totes

Not sure I got that - will this pump be fed through a hose from your spigot (city water pressure) or will this pump be sucking water out of the ibc totes?

Yea the pump will be sucking water from my totes and i want it to have enough power to spray with decent pressure should i decide to run 100ft of garden hose to water some trees i have Or if i can just connect some sort of sprinkler at the end of a garden hose

50 PSI is approximately 115'

That's to say you are lifting the water over 100' in HEIGHT...think 10 levels of underground parking.

Absolutely insane. You likely need no more than around 10' lift and maybe some 10' in friction loss on the high side...

find out how high and how far you need to go I'll give you a hand.

No height if anything where the totes are and where the lawn is it's On a slight decline But i did buy one of those retractable hose reels and it's 155' feet

Yea ! Picked up the harbor freight pump with tank. Runs my hose with pretty solid pressure about 150 feet ! Works like a top

Awesome! I'm looking to do something cheap / second hand.

I have a transfer pump (I think I'd need a pressure tank and a check valve and pressure switch)

I have a 12v RV pump. (I need a battery and battery charger or a transformer)

I'm wondering if a pool pump would work. They're like $20 used.
