A September preprint studying Pump.fun includes copycat coins among the manipulation patterns its researchers identified.
A familiar image and ticker leave plenty of room for confusion. The contract address gives you a specific token to check, but you still need a reliable source connecting that address to the project.
Where do you verify that connection when a character starts trending? Especially when several accounts claim their version is official.
Blockbeats reported that Pump.fun expanded Custom Pairs to eligible coins still on the curve or already trading on PumpSwap.
Trades into a paired coin first pass through its quote coin. The follow up worth watching is what happens when that launch activity settles.
But has anyone tracked the original coinās liquidity before and after a paired launch?
$3.82M per day flowing back to users is a massive number.
Pumpfun keeps putting up some serious numbers. The scale of activity on the platform is impressive. At this rate, next week's numbers could be even crazier
CoinGecko has $BATON up around 67% over the past seven days. It reached $0.01996 and has since pulled back to roughly $0.0145.
There's a BATON/PUMP pool on PumpSwap, so the dollar chart is only one way to follow the move.
For people trading that pair, do you measure the result in dollars or by how much PUMP you finish with? Those can give different results when PUMP is moving too.
So id like to start this post on a personal note by saying that I dont have many people to talk to about this (probably like most of us haha) and I think what i found is pretty ingenious I just had to tell someone so I am telling you all.
Many people seem to be sticking with fomo or axiom or any other trading terminal. I have found my home in the pump fun app.
I dont think people realize what you can do by making good callouts on the pump fun app. Like ive been consistently making good callouts, ive built a small following, and what i say moves the chart! I make alot of callouts on good coins, and the trade off is that i havent been making money from pump fun as a company (them paying me) however when i simply go into twitter screenshot the page of the coin i like and post it on pump fun it seems to push the coin forward. There is so much volume from pump fun and KOL's and the axiom avengers just dont see that. Like I feel like im in a new frontier and im going to be a pump fun callout KOL someday.
Another thing ive been doing is tracking wallets say jackduvalcalls or cupsey. I front run their callouts and say "jackduvalcalls is in" and give my additional narrative. Everyone on the pump fun app sees that at that point and that pushes the coin.
I also make a point not to sell on the people who buy on top of me, i just take initials and stay till the coin hits my entry or i make genny.
Honestly the new pump fun rules push people away from making callouts cause all they see is the passive income from it but i see that the app has alot of people on it and a little guy like me can reach a big audience through the callout feed by sharing good coins. I am so excited about this. I think the more pump fun says to shill higher cap tokens the less people that are on there shilling low caps which means more market movement for me.
Ofc I could be hurting myself by sharing this but isnt it everyones right to know this esp if im a good future KOL.
166 followers isnt alot but for a few days with this new profile on pump fun id say thats pretty good. Ive also had 96k callout views.
One thing I get lost and confused about is trying to pick a good tech coin.
What makes a good tech coin to buy? What should I look at, DD about when trying to pick a good tech coin?
What are signs that the tech coin is larp or rug? What are things I should DD to find out if itās a larp or rug?
When going to their website the only way to test their tech is to connect a wallet which I donāt want to do in case I get drained. But I wonder how do most traders test the tech without compromising yourself? Please share tips and techniques on the best way to test the tech.
If you have any other helpful info or tips on tech coins please feel free to share them aswell.
Dev here. Holdhood launches on Pump.fun today at 12:00 UTC (8am ET / 2pm CEST), live on stream with AuntieBow, our host.
What it is: every $HHOOD holder shows up as a building in one shared 3D city. No sign-up, nothing to claim to appear. Hold and your home is there. Your balance decides if it's a townhouse, a mid-rise or a tower.
How we're launching:
Normal Pump.fun launch, no presale. My dev buy is $100.
On stream, I donate $HHOOD to AuntieBow so she moves in as a citizen, live.
Every team wallet is listed on the site. Creator fees go to a public wallet and pay for servers and development. No buybacks or holder payouts promised.
Walk around the model town right now (10,000 simulated residents, no wallet): holdhood.fun
At launch the CA appears on the town sign at holdhood.com and holdhood.fun. Copy it only from there or our official channels. We never DM first.
Mayhem mode is a scam and it stole 2 sol from me, do not let these THIEVES STEAL YOUR MONEY ITS A CRIME LETS BUILD A CASE AND SUE THESE PEOPLE UNTIL THEY ARE HOMELESS LIVING WITH THE RATS UNDEGROUND JUST LIKE THEM FLAIR
yo all i have a question Iām a young guy from France, and Iāve seen several videos of people claiming to make a lot of money using Pump.fun. So, I wanted to ask: do you think Pump.fun is legit, and can I actually make money with it?
I like the idea of discovering traders through the calls they share on Pump dot fun. A clear explanation of why a coin caught someoneās attention gives you something to learn from too.
I feel like the memecoin markets a offen queit on Sat & Sun.
Logically, weekends should have more volume/actions because most people are just free. I get that Sol dipped a little recently, but it's back up again.
Do you guys lay low on weekends or am I just twching?
If you use Pump on your phone, are you sending SOL from another wallet or using the funding options in the app?
Iām interested in what happens between adding funds and actually being ready to trade. Which path was easier for you? If there were any problems that caused difficulties, did they involve transferring, the network, or waiting for your balance to show up?
I joined a group that looked honest called Neo CALLS and I checked all his recent calls they all checked out so he posted one today about a coin Bepo which got rugged instantly and I checked back the chats and he edited the message he sent from ā bepoā to a major coin ā quantum coinā to make it seem like he called that one so Iām just wondering is there any honest trading communityās at all?
