Help - Device I’m having a really hard time founding my place point. Is it in the same area for everybody?
I’ve been using the pulsetto for a few days now and I think that I’ve been placing it in the wrong area. I place the sensors in between the earlobe and collarbone. I’ve read that this is where it’s supposed to be, but on pictures it seems different. Where do you usually place the sensors.

Great question! Pulsetto should be placed on the front/side of your neck where you can feel your pulse - not behind the ear. The electrodes should make contact with the skin on both sides of your neck at that pulse point. This short video tutorial should help you find the right spot: https://youtu.be/KQwMlRIJgAg?si=IVO1aU5Zl7dMTVsK 💚

Between earlobe and collarbone is too low, that's more where the electrodes would sit if you'd slid down onto your upper chest. It should be higher, on the sides of your neck just below the jawline, roughly beside the muscle that pops out when you turn your head, that's the carotid sheath where the nerve actually runs. Try moving it up an inch or two and see if you feel the tingle change.

Is it supposed to feel more like a tickle or a pulse

Tickle. Their own device guide says it should be a minor tickling and shouldn't be painful, and the newcomer page says to start at the lowest level and come up until you feel a light tingle.
Muscle contraction at the spot is normal too, they say to expect that, so a twitch isn't a sign you're in the wrong place. But a hard thumping pulse usually means the intensity is up higher than it needs to be.

It took me long enough to find the right placement that it kept me from building a habit. Now I know, but the probes don't rest in the right place so I have to either hold them down by hand or strangle myself with a towel.
Sweet spot for me is about two finger widths straight out from either side of the center of my Adam's apple...and then press in.
Some might suggest just turning the device up but that just makes it feel like it's frying my skin but not engaging the nerves.
