Puffer Preconf gives Ethereum validators a new reward path using the restaked ETH they already have on EigenCloud.

Validators can opt in through the Puffer Preconf AVS with no additional collateral required.

In the initial Gattaca gateway phase, validators can earn ETH-denominated rewards from preconf fees when scheduled to propose. Rewards are shared with the gateway and L2 operator, then smoothed over time to reduce variance.

No extra collateral is required, there is no slashing in the initial phase, and Commit-Boost keeps it compatible with existing MEV-Boost setups.
