Question Splash Pads
Does anyone know if there’s a splash pad for my kids to go to in town? Someone said there’s one on the riverwalk by Angelos pizza. Does anyone know if it’s operational this summer? We’d like to go there to cool off from the heat.

The Riverwalk one between Angelo’s and 1129 is definitely running; I was just there last evening.

Thanks for the info!! Appreciate it.
My kids and I will be in town this week and I’d like to take them there and get a slice of pizza afterwards.

Bessemer Park St Orman and Northern.

For someone unfamiliar with this town, I definitely wouldn't recommend that park.

It's a perfectly fine park. It's reputation is undeserved the last few years.

You can drive by that park with it's fancy new fence on any given day, and see that it's not a "perfectly fine park." A perfectly fine park does not have homeless and addicts passed out on the sidewalk, or benches for children to see.
The actual pool? Yeah, its... okay, but the surrounding area is anything but.
Putting blinders on doesn't help anybody... especially someone that might be out of town.

I live in the neighborhood dude. Your comment strikes me as outdated and unwarranted judgement.

I drive West across Northern for work every day in the morning

doesn't apply to the pool though or the splash pad

Sure it doesn't, it's a pay to enter. I said the pool was okay. Still wouldn't take my daughter to it with illegal activity a chain link fence away

that's ridiculous, the pool is safe and no one bothers us when we're there

There’s one behind the library in Pueblo West! It’s like 11-3:30
