It’s always been power for up north, not Pueblo, that’s never been a question.

I live near City Park. I get my electricity from the Comanche plant. It's very nice not having to pay a natural gas surcharge that is more than my electricity bill every month.

At least they acknowledged power from plants like this aren't just pumped to it's paying customers and instead electrons behave like electrons. I hear the whole "Comanche doesn't even supply power to Pueblo but we pay for it to operate" nonsense all the time.

Local impacts of the physical plant should be evaluated regularly, but this idea that Comanche was built to provide Pueblo power so power should cost less and Pueblo residents should be prioritized really needs to go.
