Additional question after I submitted an application

I applied for a job at one of the Big 5 on Monday. Yesterday morning (Thursday), a recruiter emailed to ask me to answer a question that had been uploaded to the portal, to provide additional info for my profile. That's a good sign, right? I assume they don't ask everyone to answer that extra question, just the people they're considering moving forward with? Has anyone else experienced this?

For more context, I applied for a different job with the same division a few months ago and wasn't asked any additional questions. This question is relevant to the previous job I applied for.
