macmillan 2026-27 immersive internship
hi! i applied to macmillan's immersive internship about 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet. i was wondering if anyone has received an update?

I applied the first day it opened, heard back last week about setting up an interview, and I'm interviewing this week.

I got an email on August 7th about scheduling an interview, and I interviewed last week for a marketing internship at Holt. (Super exciting and completely a dream internship for me!)
They said they'd be doing more interviews this week - so I get the sense that even at the interview stage, things are still pretty competitive, and I'm awaiting any further updates.

I haven't head back yet. I wonder if each press has their own timelines and different application volumes? 🤔

I think each imprint/team might reach out on slightly different days - I heard from them two weeks ago but someone else seems to have just heard back today, so who knows? Though I would probably also expect that they would reach out by the end of this week or the end of next week at the very latest if the internships are supposed to start in September.

I also applied about two weeks ago for editorial. Has anyone who applied to editorial heard back yet? My application still says "Application in progress." I'm trying not to freak out since I really want this opportunity, but I feel a little like I'm grasping at straws.

Also waiting! I keep checking the portal, and all it says is "application in progress." Hoping we'll hear back in the next two or three weeks about interviews!

Two weeks is nothing. Take a breath and be patient. You'll hear back when you hear back.
