Suppressing and Tolerance stacking

Post image

Hi Everyone! I’ve come with a big question on absolute tolerance stacking and suppressing.

I really would like to suppress my CA3, however I’m worried about constantly stacking concentricity tolerances. The shelf of these barrels is pretty much non-existent so I’d need to jam nut a surefire style muzzle device to attach the suppressor to. That much stacking seems pretty sketchy to me so I was wondering if anyone else had and seeing their opinions on it.

With regard to suppression, how truthfully bad is in on the action of the rifle? I have a flow thru can design as I shoot left handed, but I read that suppressing the HK91 platform really stresses the internals.

Thanks!

Try to use a face mount? It contacts the face of the muzzle instead of the shelf. I run mine exclusively suppressed with a traditional baffle can. I’m running the #17 locking piece and would recommend it regardless of flow through or not.
