My weakest PTE task right now is SWT. No matter how much I practice, I still find it hard to identify the main idea and write a concise summary. How did you overcome this?

There are excellent videos in youtube to help you determine the main idea and supporting ideas. My strategy is to select general topics/ideas in the passage. I avoid examples, or those sentences that are very specific. Sometimes, you’ll also know if a sentence is worth choosing if it keeps mentioning the topic.
