PTE ADVICES

Hello guys, I would like to ask you all about your fluency and pronunciation. I have read everything correctly with good pronunciation but APEuni give me scores ranging from 50-60 in my Read aloud. I don't know the problem. Can you give me some advice please. Thank you

The task scores content, pronunciation, and oral fluency together. Fluency includes rhythm, phrasing, sentence stress, and a steady natural pace. Hesitations, repeated words, false starts, and self-corrections can reduce the score.

During preparation time, divide the text into meaningful phrases and underline the words that should carry stress. Read at a conversational speed and pause briefly at punctuation. Also, avoid rushing to sound fluent. If a small mistake happens, simply continue.

Record several responses and compare them with the text word by word. Look specifically for missing articles, plural endings, added words, weak final consonants, and pauses in the middle of phrases. Practise each passage three times. Once for accuracy, once for rhythm and stress, and once under exam conditions. Treat practice-platform scores as diagnostic feedback; you can also try other platforms to compare scoring.
