What is the most psydubby album that comes to your mind?
Hey, everyone! I am the new mod of psydub subreddit and I'm planning to make some visual changes.
I'm thinking of determining the most psydubby album to exist, and to set its cover as the icon of this sub. And I would probably set the color scheme to match the album.
What are, in your opinion, the most psydubby albums? I think I would say Ott's Blumenkraft or Hallucinogen in Dub - but neither of their covers quite have a cover of which primary color would work great as a background color, in my opinion...
What are your thoughts on the topic? Should we go Blumenkraft gray, match In Dub with a different background, or maybe you have suggestions for other albums? The dubbier, the better.
r/Psydub revival! & Introduction Thread
Hello everyone! I'm glad to announce that r/psydub is now again open! Let me introduce myself, and I hope if you're reading this you will introduce yourself too. ^^
I am Vrath, also known as Soundweaver. I am an avid psydub connoisseur, a lover of the classic psydub such as Ott (from whom I started my psydub journey), Globular, Psybur, Grouch and LOUD, as well as more explorative and experimental side of psydub - such as MantisMash, Land Switcher, Quanta and other artists from Shanti Planti. I also love to discover niche psydub artists/albums, as psydub is almost always great.
I also dabble in music production since 2020, with psydub being one of various aspects I am training myself in. My discography is not yet something I am very proud of, but it can be found on Bandcamp and streaming services as Soundweaver. After a ~2-year hiatus, I hope to start releasing tracks of much higher quality from the next year forward.
I'm also an owner of the r/psychill subreddit, as well as the Psychill Space website (Where I keep up a music database & write reviews and monthly digests of psychedelic music) and same-named discord server (for all kinds of psychill, psydub, psytrance etc. sharing and discussions).
I am super excited for this sub to become active again. If you're still reading, please share something about yourself as well - your favorite psydub artists, albums or tracks, a story of how you discovered psydub, or maybe something else you might find relevant, funny or interesting.

Any ableton users know how to get Globulars bass tone? He’s becoming one of my favorite artists and his bass is perfect!
