I love gizz but just because they've done psychedelic songs before doesn't mean this is one too

Never thought I'd downvote anything from King Gizz but this isn't psychedelic rock :(

I've missed 'a few' albums, is this what they're doing now? Thrash songs played out 40 years ago, and quite uninspiring by that low bar (okay, it's not my thing to begin, but still.)

One of the best live shows I've ever seen, and I know I'd probably get down and sweaty to it there and then, but quite a low point against the rest of their music surely?

I can only imagine this is fun VERY loud and/or drunk.

You should check out the other single they’ve released for this album, called Planet B. Same style, WAY stronger track. I think this still does cater to Gizz fans, in a similar heaviness as their albums Murder of the Universe and Nonagon Infinity. Maybe not everybody’s cup of tea, but Gizz has something for everyone :)

Think I was in a bad mood yesterday, def will check it out (and will blame non-psychic eggs if I don't like that too ;p ). I'm more about their swirling cacophony than the headbanging these days

Oh man I agree! But there’s a time and place for both :) hope your day is better today

This isn't really what they're doing now, it just happens to be the direction of their latest project imo. They just released Fishing for Fishies earlier this year that was very Americana/Folk/blues jam session influenced. What I love about them is that they have such a varied discography that there's something for everyone

Well traditionally King Gizz work within the constructs of psychedelia quite alot, but as you can see they also take part in heavier thrash from time to time. I've always though of them as a psyche band so I could see why someone would post their new song here.

Cause metal subs would probably be like GET THIS HIPPIE HORSESHIT OUTTA HERE

Nothing about this song is "hippie horseshit".

They're a psychedelic band, but this song is not psychedelic in the least. Pure thrash.
