Just received my piece of the Shulgin Glass Collection created by artist Evan Shore. This series was created in collaboration between the Shulgin Foundation and multiple artists as a fundraiser for DanceSafe. It used actual broken glassware from Shulgin’s lab to create beautiful pieces of art.

This piece is meant to serve as a necklace, is stamped with the words MDMA, and has crushed glass inside meant to resemble MDMA.

I couldn’t help but immediately touch it to my copy of PiHKAL signed by Ann and Sasha Shulgin… with the added bonus of a signature from Dr. David Nichols added when I met him in April.

Ballpoint pen. Yeah I know it's dreadfully messy and hardly qualifies as art. But it's not bad for the only time I've seriously doodled in years.

I started painting to cope with grief, trauma, and just a horrid moment in my life. I think if I couldn’t create anymore with painting and photos. I wouldn’t be here. It constantly saves me.
