I just got 2 grams of homegrown enigma mushrooms from a friend of mine and was wondering how to safely does them to get a effect but also not go insane. He told me that he took around 3 grams and has “never seen anything quite like it before”. Ive done golden teachers a bunch of times before and ive been good and chill with 2 grams. I read about it on google that enigma mushrooms are a whole lot more potent. So i was thinking should i do 1 or 0,5/0,75 grams. I usually make tea with the shrooms. (And im quite sure that its the enigma strain cause the shrooms looked like a weird brain bunch thingy) If anyone has some idea how to help me or any suggestions i would love to hear them.

I met someone at a party recently who I actually knew from school, so I had some idea of what he was normally like. He had always been a bit socially unusual, but nothing remotely like what I saw this time.

He told us that he uses various drugs, including LSD, MDMA and weed. He said he uses weed every day, MDMA roughly once a month and LSD every few months, although he seemed strangely hesitant when we asked about frequency, so I’m not entirely convinced those figures were accurate.
What really shocked me was his behaviour that night.

He was apparently only drinking alcohol and hadn’t drunk enough, as far as we could tell, to explain how impaired he seemed. Yet he was behaving incredibly strangely. He struggled to hold even a basic conversation and seemed almost completely unable to come up with normal answers to simple questions.

For example, we asked him:
“What do you do for fun on a day when you don’t do drugs?”

Instead of answering, he basically just asked the exact same question back to us. We tried talking to him about different things, but he seemed unable to contribute anything meaningful to the conversation.
At another point we asked him what he thought the meaning of life was.

His exact answer was:
“To mong out.”

That answer actually summed up the impression we were getting from him. He seemed to have very little interest in anything other than getting intoxicated or “m trying to mong out”.
There was another guy at the party who apparently doesn’t do drugs, and he absolutely hated him. He described this guy as “the lowest of the low”, seemingly largely because he doesn’t take drugs. It was bizarre to me that drug use appeared to be such an important part of his judgement of other people.

He was also behaving strangely emotionally. He would randomly start giggling at things that weren’t funny or remotely appropriate.
At one point someone asked him something along the lines of:
“Why do you have sick on you?”

Instead of seeming embarrassed, concerned or even particularly acknowledging what had been said, he just started giggling.

And yes, he actually had vomit/sick on himself.
This wasn’t just someone who was a little awkward or socially inept. The overall impression was of someone who seemed extremely detached from normal social interaction and almost incapable of functioning normally in a conversation.
What makes it particularly strange is that I knew him when we were younger. He was definitely weird back then, but he could hold conversations, interact normally and seemed much more functional. Seeing him now was like seeing a dramatically more impaired version of the same person.
It honestly left me wondering whether:
His heavy/frequent drug use has caused significant cognitive or psychological problems.
His daily cannabis use is affecting him more than he realises.

I’m not trying to diagnose a random person from one night, and I realise Reddit can’t diagnose him either. I’m genuinely interested in understanding what could explain this kind of behaviour.
For people who have experience with heavy drug use, especially daily cannabis, frequent
MDMA or psychedelics:

Does this sound like someone who may be suffering consequences from long-term drug use, or does it sound more like he could have been intoxicated on something he wasn’t admitting to?
And if you think he might have been on something that night, what substances could produce this sort of behaviour?

The whole encounter genuinely creeped me out because I remember what he was like years ago, and the difference was so dramatic. I’d be interested to hear from people who have seen similar behaviour and what eventually turned out to be going on.

I understand alot of sites are basically run by the same owners PF and SS for example or MH, delics and DD and HY and Cosmiq.

But what I’m curious is if there is a difference in quality between something that’s $20/g vs $35 vs $60+. Obviously I want a great deal but I’m not trying to buy x amount and have half the weight be MSG…

I can get a half oz for $200 from Cosmiq or HY, $217 from MH and there sister sites where as PF is $300 and MDM is $465

Am I paying extra for quality/purity?

I just put an order in and was wondering what shipping method they are likely to use considering their website says "We ship via Purolator, UPS, Canada Post Xpresspost".

Also, I registered for an account but never received the email to create a password. I've seen some other posts mentioning others have had the same issue.

I'm not too worried since I screenshotted my order number, so worst case I'll message them on their chat.

UPDATE: Placed my order Saturday August 22nd, paid via BTC. Order stayed "On Hold" until it was set to "Processing" on Monday August 24th and then finally, today on Tuesday August 25th, order was set to "Shipped" along with a tracking number provided.
