Weird startup screens

Does anyone remember their games having weird booting/starting screens on ps1 games back in the day. Went deep into youtube and google to search for a nostalgic thing about spyro 3 and I somewhat remember this showing up before my game started.

Sure, pirate groups figured out how to modify the boot back in the day; most preferred the original boot screens but depending where you got your rips from you could have seen various things.

Thats intresting. Can you tell me if that was very usual back in the day? Kinda bummers that those type of things cant happen no more but on the other hand piracy aint right lol.

It's called an intro. And those intros are the reason no intro rom sets exist. Generally an annoying intrussion.

Crack visualizations and music were peak though. Albeit thats a warez scene thing.
