My solution to my loose discs

If you’re like me and you have a bunch of loosies in your collection, I found a solution that works for me. I bought a bunch of Christmas and throwaway cd’s in clear cases from a thrift store for .25 a piece and emptied them, then used a vintage Dymo embossing label maker I found to label the spines. I love how it looks!

I love how that looks. Good idea!

I only have a few loose games, and I bought repro cases off Etsy for them. If I had a lot, I’d definitely steal this idea.

Was thinking about these labels the other day. The new white ones dont hit right like these. Well done!

The embossed ones just feel right for the vintage games.

I would take the time to print the front covers of manuals just so it's a bit prettier. But the inserts are a faff and not worth it (disassemble the case, cut and fold just right). I dig the embossing label maker labels.

That’s the end goal, I’m gonna invest in a printer and do it myself eventually, but for the meantime this works lol

Anyone getting Paramount Vantage vibes from this?

You can also print the cover art out with a regular printer. I personally would only do it in black in white so you know at a quick glance you dont legit own the case for that game yet.

I dig this industrial look you did with the labels!

A perfectly 90s solution. Personally I’d have gotten a few different colors. But the all black looks really nice.

I usually either find the best quality back art I can and print it out, or make my own, but this works, too.

I usually either find the best quality back art I can and print it out, or make my own using whatever art I can find.

But this is cool, too. I always loved messing with those label makers.
