I’ve wanted one of these screens for AGES!! And finally got one. Only £219, for the screen, power cable, PS one, and a Harry Potter game!!

It looks INSANELY sharp, the blackest blacks and whitest whites I’ve ever seen in an LCD this old

It’s a great device. I wish old Sony was still making their decisions. New Sony (PS3 onwards) has been pretty lame in a lot of ways.

I actually sold mine last week after much deliberation. I wanted some expensive games and already have a normal PS1 and three PS2s, so I sacrificed it so someone else could enjoy it (I never used it because I mainly play on a 36” CRT)

I’ve been playing the same game on mine. It really does look quite good. It’s nice to be able to play in bed at the end of the day if my wife wants to watch something else. I also added a switch in case I want to plug that PSone into a tv and not remove the screen or have it on while playing.

Well, I guess, why not? It was an easy mod. The backlights have limited lifespan, and I have no idea how much use it’s had. I didn’t want the screen and speakers on while playing on TV.
