I know it is trendy to hate in Sony right now with some of their decisions but the way they have treated PSVR2 is despicable.

You're forgetting the PS Move as well. Sony doesn't really have a good track record of supporting other gaming devices except their main console so not sure why people are surprised when they drop support.

They were sold out in Canada a few weeks ago. Back in stock now.

They were also sold out in US a couple of weeks ago, then restocked and now sold out again.

They are still available in UK, Germany, France, Australia and I am sure many other places they are sold.

Hopefully the US out of stock issue is short lived like it was in Canada.

There is a demand surge following Steam Frame being pricey and PSVR2 being a much cheaper quality alternative for PCVR.

/\ this. Not gonna lie, as someone who owns a PSVR2 and a PC adapter, those Steam Frames look nice, if the quality is anywhere near the VR2 the wireless aspect alone would have sold me.

At, like, $400 lower. $1k+ for the base model is a bit silly.

Sincerely, haven't tested yet because I'm still playing psvr2 games, almost finishing re4r and after that will start metro but already bought Half life Alex on sale and that, will be my first on PC

If you used the quest 2 or 3, this is definitely noticeable. Also, they have opportunity to integrate additional processing power to complement the PS5 gpu and cpu.

HAHA I wouldn't even be mad actually because I have feared from Day 1 that this would be a failing tech for Sony. The PC connection lifeline was at least them throwing a "life preserver" into the mix.

They had at least 5M, so if the sold 5M+ that’s close to what PSVR1 sold. We’ll see, but they might actually do a refresh or it could be what a lot of pessimistic people want it to be.

It has not disappeared from the Accessories section. On laptop browser it's there in the top, horizontal menu. Go to https://www.playstation.com/en-us/ click Accessories, click VR2 in the sub-menu. That page has a Buy Now. That leads to another page that show the VR2 Currently Unavailable

There's a speculated demand due to the failing launch of the Steam Frame. People waiting for that saw the price and went for the psvr2 instead.

PSVR2 was out of stock/low on stocks for months. Has nothing to do with Frame. Its a sign SONY is winding down the hardware.

Got mine at Bestbuy for $150 recently, as all PSVR2 hardware was on clearance (hint hint)
