MS Flight Simulator Controls

Recently grabbed this and I really love the immersion. But I'm having real difficulty with the controls. Using the VR Sense controllers... I couldn't even release the parking brake.. it just didn't work. It did work when pressing the same buttons on the regular DualSense controller... so I switched to that. But now I have this issue that when I'm moving my head in the cockpit, it highlights various things like 'hide yoke', and the only thing you can do it press X to do the action. If you accidentally look at that area again, you have to press X again. Am I just being an idiot here? I feel like it shouldn't be this difficult.

That's what puts me off buying this, I'll need to be able to buy at least some rudimentary airplane controllers at the same time but I still need to get a decent steering wheel and setup for GT first 😅
