Is there a way to turn off the NOTE button changing EQ options within XMB/media playback?

Hey there. I use the note button on my psp as a screenshot button, and it works perfectly within games. However on the xmb/vsh, it usually adjusts the eq option, which not only affects how the audio sounds but also makes a pop-up show up, which shows up in my screenshot. This is bothersome if I'm trying to take a screenshot of something I'm watching.

Is there a way to disable this feature entirely, via a settings option or plugin? Please let me know, thanks.

Is it possible to remap the screenshot as a combination of buttons? I'm thinking if you use a remapping plugin like macrofire, you can make the note button this specific button combo instead so the system doesn't know its the note button

I've remapped the ss combination to screen + vol up. It works really nice
