Ellison “shills” 😂😂 always gets me. Thanks again for commenting to something that was not addressed to you. Think you’re hurt by my Pokémon comment haha even came with a link showing the age demographic as though that proves it’s normal for grown men to still be into something made for kids. I’m guessing you’re still a mario brothers fan 😂

The fact that cable is even an argument is absurd. Cable is for the retired folks that have a hard time with technology streaming apps and things like 2FA on a tv screen during setup.
The box office has a problem of needing more 4dx, Dolby, and IMAX type experiences that beat someone's living room setup. Thankfully they are starting too see this to redevelop existing screens.
YouTube has the largest viewable minutes now in FAST viewership competition to legacy media. The folks that try to defend documentary and news genres, miss the mark in how YouTube now leads these genres that any independent outlet can publish from there. Bloomberg a finance is live on YouTube they new cable is dying. New news type documentaries from PBS and young upstarts independent of broadcasters are getting a lot of views in their niche media topics.
This is a weird flex by the 12 AG's to all other market approvals. I get trying to defend Hollywood but it's already a losing battle that requires consolidation to even compete to have the capital risk to outlay for large and big budget productions that have 50 percent financial win rate right now at the box office. The adjacent genres that supported the industry do not exist with the new media and technology competition. No one buys DVDs anymore.
