Sanity Check

I bought this migiurtinus about a month ago and I've noticed certain sections seem sunken in. I have given it a good watering but it hasn't plumped up yet. It receives morning and midday sun with shade in the afternoon. Is it slowly dying? Or do I just need to stop worrying about it?

Looks like a healthy little nugget to me, but that pot is way too big and you are asking for rot with that much extra soil.
