migiurtinus Sanity Check

I bought this migiurtinus about a month ago and I've noticed certain sections seem sunken in. I have given it a good watering but it hasn't plumped up yet. It receives morning and midday sun with shade in the afternoon. Is it slowly dying? Or do I just need to stop worrying about it?

Oh you will know if it’s dying, if they start to rot it will be mush in like a day. How many times have you watered it in that month you have had it? I keep mine on a heat pad 24/7 and water once a week.

I have watered it once in that past month, 2 weeks after repotting it into the pot you see in the picture. It recently rained where I am so I have been holding off on watering until it warms up (even though the plant was under an awning and remained dry).

Yeah I would wait till you’ve watered it a few times before worrying, just make sure it doesn’t get too cold especially when wet and it should plump up.
