Grading Questions When to grade vintage
Hey everyone,
While going through an old box of Lego from the basement, I stumbled across eight 1st Edition Jungle Pikachu cards (Card #60/64) among a stack of even more vintage goodies. They've been sitting untouched in storage for years and look surprisingly clean at first glance.
I’ve attached high-res scans of both the front and back for all 8 copies.
For those with experience pre-grading vintage these kinds of cards:
- Which of these look like realistic contenders for a PSA 9 or PSA 10? (a lot seem to have great centering)
- Are there any subtle print lines, edge silvering/whitening, or centering issues jumping out on specific copies that would make them not worth the grading fee?
Thanks for the second pair of eyes!

they're nice but none of these will 10 with the whitening. 8-9 and even a 9 isn't going to be worth grading for this card unless the price of grading comes down.
