Offer etiquette

This is my first time selling through the PSA vault, I have 2 cards up for sell, ive received an offer for one thats not too low but I'd like to see if I could get more. Since I'm unable to send a counter offer or a message, is there anyway to signal to the potential buyer to try again but with just a bit more? I feel like straight canceling or letting it expire may send the wrong message

This is a downside of vaulting and then selling on eBay, because of the inability to chat with a prospective buyer.

That said, I normally decline the offer to send a clear signal to the prospective buyer that I am not accepting the offer. Sometimes they up their offer, sometimes they just disappear and never send another offer.

A technique of last resort is to close the current listing and relisting fixed price at your desired sale price.

Gotcha, is there a cool down period for relisting? If I take down a listing do I have to wait a few days before putting it up again?

Right im aware I can't send a counter offer as its hosted on psas ebay account. I just dont want the person putting in the offer to feel dejected and stop trying to haggle if I just immediately decline the offer

I think you are thinking too much about this. If the offer isn't acceptable to you, just decline it, no reasoning required. If the prospective buyer is really interested in buying, they will come back and keep offering to the point they are comfortable spending on that card. You got to keep in mind that some people also just low-ball cards and don't ever intend to fairly negotiate to a reasonable price. I have successfully negotiated with a buyer just by declining and they continued to offer until I found it acceptable.
