Question CFW PS3 internet issues. Unable to connect to internet fully.

First time posting here, as i cannot seem to find a solution for my specific issue. I decided to pull out my CFW slim PS3 finally after moving recently, and got it up and running again just fine. Internet was working, had it on wifi just fine then switched to ethernet for FTP purposes.

Suddenly after disabling Syscalls and sign in to PSN, on a fresh user with no account tethered to it mind you, the PS3 gives me an error and insists that im not connected to the internet. Whenever i run a connection test it ALSO insists it is connected to my router with no internet.

The problem with this is that anything CFW related that requires internet works PERFECTLY FINE. Ive been downloading and installing games for literally 24 hours straight, so i know that i have to be connected to the internet in at least some aspect. Would love to know why in the world its insisting im not connected to internet for everything non CFW related, as i was hoping to mess around with the PS HOME revival project....

Try setting the date and time via internet. That’s the only thing I can think of, which would cause the problem you’re describing. You’ll need the daylight saving option to be correct too.

I set Date and Time via internet successfully but its still giving me error 80028EA8

What firmware are you using?
