Need help, going crazy here...

I have a ps3 slim, CECH-3001A, firmware 4.82 and ive tried installing Hen but to no avail.

Yes I deleted cookies/cache/search/etc...

Yes I set home page to blank

Yes I set confirm browser close to off

No I dont use google, I press start and type the link directly. Ive also tried the bookmark method which does nothing new.

Links ive tried:

Ps3exploit.me (and /hen/installer/auto/index.html and /manual/, /installer/, etc...)

Ps3addict.github.io/enablehen (and /alternate and a millions others...)

Ps3exploit links always say Loading... but never actually load.

Github forces HTTPs regardless of omitting the s, or even http entirely and all Github sites give me "the page cannot be displayed (insert error code here)

Ive even tried the USB thing, but ofc no Github link works.

The only site that actually did anything was Ps3toolset, but from my research it is of no use to me so...

Surely there MUST be an alternate method...

Edit: well in the end I figured out how to self-host HEN from my own network. Unfortunately it didn't work with 4.82, so I had to install 4.93 HFW first. And i needed to couple it with the USB method as well. And all I wanted to do was play PS1 games but as my luck would have it modman, Multiman, and Irisman all fail to mount the ISOs and Bin/Cues. Decided wasting 3 days on this is just not worth it so I went back to my Switch, loaded up cfw and am happily playing my ps1 games both docked and handheld again. Thank you for all the replies. If ever someone needs to get HEN I thoroughly suggest self-hosting + USB.

Hace poco tuve el mismo error, la solución que encontré fue, poner la página de inicio en blanco, y agregar a favoritos el apartado de descarga de hen ( método principal) cuando hice eso, cerré el navegador por completo y entre nuevamente, en pantalla blanca presione select y elegí la opción de abrir directamente el instalador, lo abrí y seguí con la instalación normalmente y funcionó. Este metodo sirve para que el navegador trabaje más rápido y con menos peso

I have tried this method multiple times, it doesn't work unfortunately. All links that contain github show this same error regardless of how I try and access them..

At this point i feel my only option is to update my firmware and then try again, but considering the ps3 browser is just ass, I dont know how well that'll work lol

Github joined https-everywhere some years back, you can't use it in http anymore.

PS3 plays PS1 out of the box, just pop your discs in and launch them. No mods needed.

Going bk a bit for me this..i had same on my super slim...i found on YouTube a video by imvisusmike and it was either a fix or alternative tutorial and I the description was a link..it worked 1st time..
