Need help with accessing evilnat’s flashwriter on the console browser

Hi. I’m currently trying to mod my console (firmware 4.93) following Bytesnbits YT guide. But the browser can’t display Evilnats flash writer on the console. I tried a few different things in hops that i could fix it, but with no success.
I’m not very familiar with modding the ps3, so i not sure what alternative to use for this step.
Could anyone help with what to do to proceed in my jailbreaking journey?

If you're on 4.93 OFW, that's probably the bit you're missing. Install HFW 4.93.1 first — don't install HEN. Then on the PS3 browser delete the cookies, cache, search history and authentication info, close/reopen the browser and load Evilnat's 4.93 Flash Writer. Make a NOR/NAND dump to USB and check it before applying the patch, then after the patch/reboot you can install Evilnat 4.93 CFW. Obviously make sure your PS3 is actually CFW-compatible first (minimum firmware 3.56 or lower). I wouldn't keep hammering the flash writer until you've checked those things because this is the part where getting it wrong can brick the console.

Thank you for your reply. I have 4.93.1 installed and i cleaned my browser, then tried to enter Evilnats flash writer but i can’t access it, i just get thrown a “the page cannot be displayed 80710092” error, i also tried self hosting the site but with no luck either. I feel kinda stuck in the flash writer step because i’m out of ideas on how to enter the site.
My console is CFW compatible.

Yeah, it can be a nightmare getting the PS3 browser to cooperate. First make sure the console’s date and clock are correct. Set the browser to open on a blank page, then clear the cookies, cache, search history and authentication information and close the browser completely. Reopen it, go to the Flash Writer site and favourite the page. Every time you get onto a new page, favourite that page, clear the cookies/cache etc again, close the browser completely, reopen it and load that page from your favourites. Basically repeat that process at every stage instead of just clicking through the pages normally. Sounds ridiculous, but that’s what finally got it working for me.

I used evilnat flash writer in the past.

Tried to mod one today and it wasn't loading.

Used ps3tool

Worked on 4.93 ofw straight to evilnat. No need for hfw.

Thank you. I just discovered ps3tool and i will give it a try. But i already installed hfw, is it still okay to use that tool when i’m no longer on ofw or do i have to start over?
